- Vince and Werner disagree on a crucial scene in "Smoke Jumpers." Turtle arranges a secret rendezvous.
- Despite Vince's best efforts to film a pivotal scene for Smokejumpers (Vince does more than 50 takes for the scene), Verner - who never wanted Vince in the first place (Verner claims that Dana forced Vince down his throat and gave him no choice) - fires him from the movie, forcing Ari and Dana Gordon to try to bring the uncompromising director in line. Ari goes down to the sets. Verner refuses to listen to Ari and flatly refuses to respond to Ari's threats. Verner has already offered Vince's part to Josh Hartnett. Ari tells Verner that he does not have the authority to fire Vince as the movie came with Vince attached. Verner refuses to back down and walks away from Ari.
Ari calls Dana & demands that she takes care of Verner & get him in line. Dana calls Verner who reams her out for 45 minutes. Dana doesn't want the matter escalating to John on her first $ 100 million movie. Dana is clear that nobody, including Verner or Vince, is getting replaced on smoke-jumpers.
Dana calls for a meeting in her office with Verner, Vince, Ari and E, so she can hear all sides to the story. The meeting goes badly as Verner will simply not let Vince back into the movie (Verner says that he will take any actor in the movie over Vince, even Ashton Kutcher). Ari pretends to have another famous director on the hook & asks Dana to fire Verner. Verner is angry & decides to talk to John Ellis (Dana's Boss), directly. Verner interrupts a board meeting where John is running for Chairman. John watches the footage & decides to shut down the movie as it is $ 2 M over budget. Dana thinks she will have to service John sexually to keep her job. John liked Vince's work in the movie and so did Dana. Vince, E and Drama return to Queens, dejected. Vince reminds the guys that they always agreed to go back home if there was nothing for them in LA. Ari feels that he let Vince down.
After receiving an unexpected call from Jamie-Lynn Sigler (for a late night booty call), Turtle goes back to Los Angeles to spend the day with her. Jamie has sex with Turtle multiple times and even takes him out for meals, though to out of the way restaurants, where they are not recognized.
Jamie what is Turtle's plan for life. He is on the spot and says that things have panned exactly like he wanted. He says that in the crew he made the most money during high school, by being a bookie. It was his $15,000 that brought Vince, E and Turtle to LA, even though they stayed with Drama for 2 years. While he doesn't reveal his encounter to the guys, he does tell her his real name "Sal". Jamie wants "Sal" to spend the weekend with her. Turtle has to ditch Jamie when Vince & the crew decide to go back to queens, flying coach. Andrew joins Miller-Gold after Ari stood up to Babs.
