When it was annouced that Gary Busey had joined the cast of Piranha 3Dd you could actually sense the internet doing a backflip out of excitement. The man is an endless source of entertainment, whether he's being made into an infinite loop or just acting totally nutterbutters. Now another internet icon has joined the winning team. Dimension Films, via a press release, has announced that David Hasselhoff has signed on for the horror sequel. Unlike the first film, which was set during Spring Break in Lake Victoria, the new film will take place in a water park. Hasselhoff's film career has been fairly limited in recent years (his last movie was called Dancing Ninja and he played a character called "Ansel Ladouche"), though he became an internet sensation when a video of him drunk and eating a hamburger went viral a few years ago. Not even K.I.T.T. could save David Hasselhoff from his disastrous debut on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars." The 58-year-old actor was the first celebrity to be booted from this season's competition Tuesday after just one dance with professional partner, Kym Johnson.
The exit for the former "Baywatch" and "Knight Rider" star didn't come as a complete shock considering that he and Johnson previously trudged through a cha-cha number that set them in last place on Monday night's episode.
Ironically, Hasselhoff will next be seen in the curiously titled movie "Dancing Ninja."...

Bristol Palin and Kyle Massey aside, David Hasselhoff might be "Dancing with the Stars'" biggest surprise for Season 11. And for good reason. He was was a last minute substitute -- though he's not saying for whom.
Zap2it caught up with the "Knight Rider" star, recent roast-ee and German national treasure at the August 30 "Dwts" cast reveal event where he shared apprehensions about joining the show and explained why now is the perfect time to take the plunge.
"After I got the call, I told my daughters, 'It looks like somebody fell out and they want me to do the show,'" says Hasselhoff, who, with a tour, reality series ("The Hasselhoffs"), and film ("Dancing Ninja") on deck, wanted to decline.
"This stuff is painful. I've done Broadway, I've done the West End with 40 of the top dancers in the world behind me and I was in such pain.

Plus Jane Lynch does iCarly, Lucas Grabeel is the Dancing Ninja, and Kylie is set to conquer North America.
So Kylie Minogue is going to try to conquer the United States again, with a 2011 North American tour. She’s tried before and never managed to catch the interest of Americans. When I traveled to Australia in the late 90s, Aussies didn’t understand this, since she’s almost a religion there — and most of the world.
Blondie is very much a New York City band, and as Ae reader Eric Hegedus discovered when he talked to the band, they remember each New York neighborhood when it was still edgy and cool. Well, except Williamsburg. I’m pretty sure nobody but hipsters ever thought Williamsburg was cool.
And as the headline of the article states, This week in manufactured True Blood controversy we’re still discussing whether True Blood sucked us...

How can Jackie Chan need cash? Surely, that's the only reason this story could've made it this far. If you were in his position, would you even field a call from producers of Beverly Hills Ninja 2?
Then again: Around the World in 80 Days.
But yes, Cinema Blend cites multiple independent sources confirming that Chan is on the radar for Ninja Dos, dangling the carrot of playing the Mr. Miyagi/Yoda character. He would join a cast that already includes High School Musical's Lucas Grabeel and David Hasselhoff.
I'd pay not to see this movie.
Blend also says that a "big announcement" is scheduled for sometime in early October, presumably to update the film's status and the cast. I know Jackie has taken quite a few shots to the head over the years, but if he takes this project, I'll lose a lot of respect for him. It was...
