  • The quality of this series does vary quite a bit, some are more interesting then others, some stories are better. This one is decent, it's a bit slow, a bit silly in parts, but it does serve as a reminder of what football violence was like in the UK, in the 1970's, it was rife. The fact that it's set in a youth court gives it a different feel.

Some of the characters are silly, old Mr Silk is like something out of a bad sitcom, getting up and down making silly jokes, a bit daft. Look out for a young Brian Pettifer as one of the trio of undesirable youths. However the best thing about it is the joyful performance of Mona Washbourne, she plays the main role, head of proceedings, and is a joy to watch, a definite twinkle in her eye.

Daft, but worth a look. 6/10
