This anime sure has a distinct and bizarre animation style, which can be off-putting for overtly critical viewers, but not necessarily for those who just want to enjoy a fun anime. I did find the slideshow-style animation slightly jarring in the beginning, but after a point of time, this didn't remain an issue and I found it actually suiting it to the anime's mood and atmosphere. The protagonist is a cool professional whose toughness and menacing vibe are the real reasons behind the hilarity of the episodes.
There was not a single episode where I didn't find it hard to control my laughter. It's that hilarious!
It's also pumped up with some hilarious yet cool action scenes from time to time, albeit in a more slice-of-life setting. Every bit of the show managed to make laugh and smile, and the music was really good. Animation was pretty neat in my opinion and you might actually appreciate it a lot more if you don't read what a lot of other viewers have to say about it. You won't really notice those "discrepancies" in the animation quality once you start watching because you will be focused on the superbly written protagonist's hilarious, at times violent, and overall memorable escapades.
I definitely want a season 2 of this. I initially had no plans to watch it, but learning the directors tried something different with the animation style by intentionally animating it like that, I was intrigued to check out their experiment. It has worked for me, gladly, and now I will be waiting for the protagonist's more hilarious and fun-filled adventures.
