Way too much Pete Davidson, although I have to admit he was surprisingly decent in this one. Timothée Chalamet was great! Overall, a good show. But SNL is really uneven this season, the shows are either pretty good or absolutely abysmal.
This episode wasn't too bad actually. The reason I'm giving one star is because of the Weekend update. It could've been funny, but when the anchormen are always laughing at their OWN jokes, it's just horrible. Maybe if the jokes were funny, someone might slip up and laugh (for real), but this fake laughing is just a turn off. Some of the best moments in SNL history are when people break out of character and laugh. But to laugh even BEFORE they tell the corny joke, and then laugh again after telling it, is just juvenile. I hope neither one of these guys gets his own late night show in the future.
