Just watched this on the "American Slapstick 2" DVD set. The beginning portion has Charley having a drink at a bar. I don't remember much that was amusing there. The rest has him trying to rescue a girl kidnapped by Indians. If you're familiar with this storyline you can probably guess the punchline which was still pretty amusing to me. So on that note, I liked Charley Out West.
