Different subject, first 15-20 minute was slow, dialogues were'nt good but matter for know the characters.then it turned really good and final scene was good. Musics not for me but match with show theme. Players are good. As a result it was a good episode.
  • Warning: Spoilers
Kevin Hart adds himself to the list of comic actors who surprise me with a solid dramatic role. I can take him seriously now and I hope to see more.

"I decided I didn't want to pay six million dollars" No clear plan in mind, just a man who's sick of being taking from.
  • This is a limited series and I'm not exactly fully gripped from the first episode. Hope it gets better but it's nothing special yet. Kevin Hart does an okay job at being dramatic in this... but don't get the storyline at all.
  • BOOM! Kevin Hart is crushing this role..It feels sort of like his life played out- with sprinkled pieces of drama/thrill-ride. Sometimes I think I'm the one who's busy working 18 hour days, but then I look at entertainers like this and truly see the hustle. Everyone has their breaking point, and this series eloquently plays out Kevin Hart's in this counter-factual world.
  • I'm not a Wesley Snipes fan, but he kind of won me over with this episode. Who knew??

Both him and Kevin Hart just blew me away! Raw, on the edge of your seat performances that kept me tuned in, and off my phone. That's literally the highest compliment I can give. Loved it!
  • Not a bad show. Kevin Hart is good as in not his annoying over-the-top comedic self of trying too hard. Billy Zane's making a living outta these kind of roles ala Mad Dogs. He's a kind of entry point for a Tarantinoesque twisty-turny crime thing.

But it's okay, so far. Lots of slow dialogue though it seems intentional. When that happens however the rewatch factor isn't high, which any kind of binging shows should rely on from scratch.

    Warning: Spoilers
"True Story," miniseries premiered back on November 24, 2021, and consists of seven episodes that I intend to watch all at once(lol).

UPDATE -WE BINDGE-WATCHED IT, WE LOVED IT!

*Kevin Hart's role in this Drama/Thriller/Crime is outstanding.

I rate this series a 10. In Hart's role he plays a highly successful Comedian. Comedian Actor Hart has grit and all the muscle in acting. Hart's role was a prolific body of work. His acting skills were impeccable in this series. Story Line Hart wakes up in his hotel room with a lady he met in the club the night before (groupie chic). He wakes up to her lying next to him dead from a drug overdose. Hart's life begins to spin out of control. *Wesley Snipes co-stars as Hart's brother in the series. This is a limited series unfortunately...However it is a -Must Watch!

I couldn't get past the first half hour. It wants to be funny like the hangover but it's terrible.

Spoiler.. he's AA but allows his loser brother to risk his sobriety.. woken up in a dark room that somehow the brother knew she was dead. Then allowed his loser brother to talk him into a series of more bad decisions.. Yup I'm out.

The first episode of this series was undeniably boring. It suffered from a slow start that failed to captivate my attention. Additionally, Kevin Hart's acting felt forced and overdone, which made it difficult to connect with his character. I almost gave up on the series within the first half hour, but I decided to persist, and to my surprise, it gradually improved and became worth watching. The second and third episodes were a stark contrast, delivering a great viewing experience. It seemed like the makers learned from their initial misstep and found their stride. The excessive emphasis on building up the story in the first episode only served to bore viewers, losing their interest. Despite this initial setback, the subsequent episodes managed to redeem the series, leaving me intrigued and hopeful for what's to come.
