definitely director has tried a new subject..!but the way he had chose to explain it was really confusing..testing the audiences..! ram charan has done a great job to his character..!coming to genelia,apart from first 15 to 20 min even she has done justice to her character,wasted prakash raj or unnecessary to cast him. thing is fans of mega star want to see ram charan in the same mass shades.! but finally i would say cheers to charan for trying a new class oriented subject..as he is a son of mega star, people start seeing everything under magnifying glass.!if the same movie was made with sum other actor, people would've said 'A DIFFERENT MOVIE,GOOD JOB'..! conclusion: worth watch for all who r in love n who would want to..!

ravikishore00925 November 2010Orange starring Ram Charan, genelia had released with high expectations after Magadheera. Director Bhaskar dealed the Love Story in a new angle in such a way that no other love story resembles it.
Ram Charan character is a Graffiti Lover in Sydney which elevated his acting stamina and he looks Awesome in the movie. Genelia's Character resembles Hasini(Bommarillu)and doesn't make a huge impact. Comedy scenes are very less but Brahmi(Brahmanandam) made his impact. Prakash raj, Nagendra babu,Prabhu are the other senior cast which have less prominent roles.
The Only Two Positives that can move the movie towards hit is Cinematography and Music. Cinematography by Kiran Reddy elevated the beautiful Sydney town with enriched quality.Music by Harris Jayaraj is Extraordinary and had huge impact on the audiences(Most of the audiences Humming the Songs while watching).
First Half of the movie has not much importance but the second half is very Good. Skydiving sequences by charan, camera work during these sequences is Excellent.
Overall the movie doesn't reach the level of Magadheera (as producer said so) and it is an above average film which elevated a new angle in love stories. Its Musically Hit Film. -

I watched the very first show of this movie . I expected a lot from it,But it doesn't meet my expectations.
First of all i wanna tell about actors....
Ramcharan after Magadheera , selected a Romantic story different from from his past two action movies His performance was improved than the past two films. The skydiving in movie will make audience surprise.. He is glamorous , stylish , funny ....
Genelia acted so well (only after the first 20 minutes), but a bit overacting... Genelia screaming is unbearable (first 20 minutes). But rest of the movie is Good & can make audience to sit and watch in theater for rest of 2 hours.
Shajan Padmasee as Rooba was beautiful and done justice to her part Rooba Rooba song was well pictured with her
Nagababu , Prakash Raj & Prabhu though performed very short roles they acted well .
Manjula as Ramcharan's sister performed surprisingly very well.
Thinking of Brahmanandam ? God this guy is hilarious . But he can still perform well.
Actors are good . But the plot of this movie is weak. Fact is that the concept is truly very new ,But the presentation part is not good.
Thinking of Music ? Harris rocks again with his wonderful music (especially Rooba Rooba ) & background score is awesome .. We have to give 10/10 for Music
The first 20 minutes of movie can be barely watchable & The rest of movie is Very Good
Finally it's a cool movie .. Its Funny , Romantic , Hilarious.. watchable with Family.
Not a must see , But a good one from Bhaskar & RamCharan.
If you had some free time , money and to want kill some time . Then this movie is for you .

Its inspired from real life incidents in our day to day life .Ofcourse, since it got released after maghadheera with high expectations , director bhasker , producer nagababu and ram charn tasted bitterness of box office flop.
But the producer career as per success is not good but lucky enough to bag Rudraveena and this Orange.
This love story of a guy who believes love lasts for only short period and always truthful to every one , especially himself . This addresses all kind of couple issues undergoing between them.director bhasker succeeded in portraying ram , genelia , the leadpair in fantastic way with new ,fresh screenplay , youthful music and great camera work and locations.
I enjoyed this honest film and appreciate its originality and unique concept.

djohnjimmy26 November 2010If you can survive the first 20 minutes of nonsense that Genilia is forced to repeat after her Bommarillu performance, I am sure you will find it bearable.
There are moments where you agree with the lead actor but the way the screenplay went you end up getting confused than enjoy it. The story was weak mostly because of the recent blockbuster movie of Ram Charan Tej - Magadheera as people tend to compare with it. There were some pretty good dialogues and stuff but not enough to keep you glued to the seat.
In short, watch it if you wanna kill some time. -

Orange is a cult hit. Certain group of people like me, can't get rid of this movie. Every time I watch this movie and it's BGM, always make me feel watching it for the first time. Very soothing. It is one of the best films I have watched in my life. This movie was way ahead of its time. If this movie is released in this decade, it could have been a blockbuster.

nsumanth328 November 2010the starting of the movie was seriously boring .by the end of the first half, all the expectations piled up on this movie were shattered. genelia's hyper excitement crossed that of hasini in bommarillu ,she was bounding up and down so much that it irritated us rather than make us like the character.ram's acting too looked artificial and all his expressions were that of an stubborn man or a stubborn man smiling.but the characters matured as the second half proceeded. the movie started making us think whether the questions ram was asking were true, is love permanent , can we love a person eternally or does the love starts to fade.ram's character believed that love was temporary and that he couldn't promise genelia a permanent relationship but he would love her the best if she was with him and that he would break up with her if only there was a reason .he argued that love is for the person's happiness then why should he/she lie to the other person just to make them happy , in the process we lose the love that we had on that person.he then starts to show her that even her friends who believed that they were in eternal love were falling apart . the flashback was taken beautifully and made us think , maybe he is right.in the flashback, the girl whom he desperately loves makes him do things which he doesn't like like messaging to other girls , giving up his habit to read,focusing on her that his other friends... and things like that.he starts to lie to her to make her happy but when she discovers that he was lying ,she flares up and an argument ensues. things which happen in reality were used nicely to portray what the director wanted to say.
the movie ends with nagababu giving some message that if he didn't compromise in a relationship all he would be left with in his life were some nice memories and that's it. so the hero changes and goes to genelia telling her that he would love her forever or at least try to. but genelia's attitude has changed and she asks him the questions which he asked her in the starting, what was the guarantee that he would love her forever.some drama unfolds and the movie ends on a happy note with both of them hugging each other..... the ending was i would say , not effective . in short , as another viewer said, if you can watch through the first 20 minutes, you would like the film.a different film showing a different viewpoint of love. -

ragpap9324 November 2017First five minutes everybody were bickering over Jaanu(Genelia). Jaanu enters and she is the most annoying character ever and that is coming from a guy who thought Genelia's past characters were deep and unique. Here it is reduced to hyper high pitch screams (Overacting) which almost made me stop before the 20 min mark. Once we cross that at least the acting was in check from there on but some facts should be reexamined: There are no lions in Australia. Speaking of that scene is it not safer to be in the car when there is a lion outside? Interesting philosophy though by Ram (both actor and character have the same name, pinch). Also another error: Stereotyping all graffiti artists as criminal rapists yet he is a good guy graffiti artist. One good thing Brimful of Asha was playing in the club. Awesome. Also songs were pretty good.
The conclusion: He cannot lie. Telling someone that you will love them forever could become a lie because the future is not certain. Movie is Orange. Oh Range lo. These guy is on a completely different level to normal people. The first 20 minutes Genelia deserves a punishment where she will have to sit and listen to nails scratching a chalkboard. -

The conflict that the Lead Actor faces to be with the person whom he loves for one final time to be with her for rest of his life is very remarkable. Especially what needs to be there in love to sustain the love for forever timeframe is a genuine attempt at showing relationships. This is a movie ahead of it's time and thus, bombed at the BO. But anyone watching this movie would be able to relate to it much better!!

Just few hours before the release of Orange movie, the Ram Charan Teja, who played a hero role in this movie, has revealed the top secret regarding his character. He says that his character is all about the youngster and his life at an age of 16 and 25.
As per the latest reports, the first is full of comedy, which is good, but the story lacked in the second half. However, the climax is interesting with fantastic action parts.
Ram Charan Teja has played a Ram role as a wild life photographer. Genelia has played a crazy girl role and Shahzan Padamsee is the supporting actress.
