  • The opening shot set the scene for this fast paced historical documentary. The Boston Tea party is in full effect and the film has grabbed the viewer full attention. The movie informed and entertained as it progressed following the troubles of Isaac Jones (Played by Cortland Mathers). As the movie went on, the excitement only got higher. Following colonial conflicts, internal and physical, Allegiance: The Legend of Isaac Jones is about the struggles of an inn owner, Isaac Jones, as he tries to decide which side of the America revolution to stay on. All of this is completed with stunning visuals and acting to boot. Heres the kicker. The entire movie was filmed, edited and directed by high school students with the help of the local Screen Actors guild. The relationship between the two is movie magic. The SAG actor's experience combined with the students experience under the tutelage of Ted Garland, director and video teacher. In the end, everything about this movie showcases the students ability to created a great movie. from its visual effects, excellent directing and even better acting.
