I love Marshall so I really enjoyed this episode with him. I really had to laugh a lot when it came to the little montage of him always injuring Lily. A gun is sure not for them.

And it is also hilarious how he keeps on changing his story. Especially when he was already on Robin's show set switching back and forward. And I must say it doesn't bother me that we never found out the truth. I rather choose what I like the most.

One of the best parts though was the little monkey grabbing a doll and run up the empire state building model. Such a great King Kong scene with an adorable little monkey.
  • This is not the greatest episode of "How I Met Your Mother", in fact it's one of the silliest, I complained Jason Segel was underused this season in an earlier review, however I did not expect to find him leading up an episode like this.. That said it is not without its funny moments.

Plot In A Paragraph: When Marshall reveals to the gang he was mugged in Central Park, Lilly freaks out, and prompted by Robin, she decides to get herself a gun, so she feel safe at home. Worried by this Marshall tells everybody he was mugged by a monkey, the gang find this hilarious (although are unsure if they believe him) Robin wants to interview Marshall on her breakfast show, hoping the funny nature of the story may get picked up by the national news. Barney meanwhile is just using Marshals mugging story as a new way to pick up women using the sympathy card.

Not as funny as previous episodes, but not without a chuckle or two either.
