In a future where people stop aging at 25, but are engineered to live only one more year, having the means to buy your way out of the situation is a shot at immortal youth. Here, Will Salas finds himself accused of murder and on the run with a hostage - a connection that becomes an important part of the way against the system.
Fortis's car is a 1983 Cadillac Seville "bustleback."
I don't have time. I don't have time to worry about how it happened. It is what it is. We're genetically engineered to stop aging at 25. The trouble is, we live only one more year, unless we can get more time. Time is now the currency. We earn it ...
Firstly, under continuity someone says about Rachel being paid two days but then couldn't pay the two hour bus fare! She paid a loan before going to the bus stop and left herself two hours! One hour for the bus and then Will would give her more. Anyway, at the end of the film Will gives the little girl loads of time in the metal things, leaving himself and Sylvia no time to get to their next destination. Only an idiot would do that.
