John Bennett, a man whose childhood wish of bringing his teddy bear to life came true, now must decide between keeping the relationship with the bear or his girlfriend, Lori.
Just before John leaves Ted's party, Sam Jones calls him 'Ponyboy'. This is the nickname of Michael Curtis in the book and film The Outsiders (1983).
So, Tami-Lynn, why don't you... tell us a little bit about yourself, like where you're from? I'm always fascinated to meet Ted's girlfriends.
Tami-Lynn: What do you mean, 'girlfriends'?
Tami-Lynn: What's it like a lot of 'em or somethin'?
Ted: N-no, that's not what she meant ...
When Ted is escaping from Donny's house, Donny is dancing in front of the TV while sipping a soda. The camera switches to show Ted running by the door, and suddenly Donny is dancing with his hands on his hips, and there's no glass of soda to be seen.
The opening credits were supposed to start with "Universal Pictures and Media Rights Capital Presents" as shown in the trailers/commercials and the back of the DVD/Blu-Ray covers. But, for unknown reasons, it starts with "Media Rights Capital Presents" and "Universal Pictures Presents" in the actual movie.
