In year, 2010 came the best Mario game in town worldwide. Then i bought it and guess what, the game is easy and fun. The game starts of with Mario joining Peach for a celebration near her castle then suddenly Bowser comes to steal Peach while Mario tries to pursue him.

The game is easy, have heartwarming cutscenes and has fun levels. The level-challenges like Prankster Comet, Green Stars and The Chimp were hard but the rest was just amazing and good graphics, good controls (sometime stiff) and qualified and copyrighted music into it.

Since this game is said to be "one of the best games of all time" i begin to like it and sometimes i rage a bit because of stages but still has amazing characters and follow-ups. The game was boring the first time then later i enjoyed it. I say this is the "Most Anticipated game of 2010"

All boss battles are super-simple it may look hard but they're'e super-simple. The game had like 10/10 on like 3 reviews and some others 9.5. This game is amazing, fun, never gets old and has a storyline. This game is really a game you should try

    10/10

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is BY FAR the best Mario/Nintendo/Any game ever made that I have played in my opinion. The only game that even comes close is Super Mario Galaxy 1. The game has soundtracks even better than the first game, the graphics are amazing for a wii game, and you can even ride Yoshi! (He also can use power ups in this game. The level designs are wonderful, and I believe Nintendo topped out on that game. As someone who has 100% it, I believe I have the credit to say that. This game is awesome, beating Super Mario Odyssey by a long shot. The low gravity levels and amazing boss fights combined with the cool plot all play into making this one of, if not THE best video-game EVER. (You can unlock Luigi after beating the final Bowser fight). It also introduces new power ups like cloud Mario, boulder Mario, and the blimpfruit for Yoshi. ALL IN ALL, this is the best video-game I have EVER played.
  • Where to start, I loved this game. The story starts out as Mario is being invited to Peaches castle to share some cake with her and watch the star festival. Just then Peach is captured by Bowser AGAIN for the umpteenth time. But Bowser is now giant and is planning to take over the universe. Mario gets in a launch star goes into space, meets a Luna named Luba who gives him a ship if he helps Luba get stars for fuel, and so the adventure begans.

The map is like the way that New Super Mario Bros was. The graphics and controls were great and so was the camera, there were no problems with any of those things at all. The level design was also very creative and breath taking. The boss fights were hard, and got slightly more challenging over time.

The story was kind of short, I beat it in about 7-8 hours, but the ability to go back and get hidden stars gives the game a lot of replay value.

Mario has many abilities in this game like the bee suit and fire suit return, although I was sad that the red star wasn't there anymore. There's also new suits like the cloud suit which lets Mario make clouds under him so he won't fall (favorite suit) and the boulder suit with makes Mario into a rock ball and run over stuff. In this game you can ride Yoshi, who also has abilities also like the chili pepper (run fast), balloon fruit (float in air temporarily), and light fruit (reveals paths).

This game is amazing and I think that so far, it's the best single player game on the wii, is a must have for anyone with a wii, and is worth every penny you spend on it.

Good things: Controls, graphics, level designs, music, length, boss fights, suits, and you get to ride Yoshi.

    Bad things: When it ends.

"Super Mario Galaxy 2" gets a "10/10" with the title of "Perfect".

(www.plasticpals.com) The first Super Mario Galaxy recaptured the old magic that started it all while reinventing the 3D platformer with fun new gravity physics and power suits. The sequel picks up right where the first ended, and in some ways it may feel a bit like more of the same. In this case, however, that's certainly not a bad thing. Super Mario Galaxy was one of the most refined, polished video games I have ever played, and a second dose of that kind of fun is exactly what the doctor ordered.

Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES) was really the first game that introduced the idea of Power Suits, which included such bizarre powers as the flying raccoon suit, the swimming frog suit, and the bouncy giant boot. Nintendo sort of forgot how much fun these power-ups could be for awhile, but thankfully they're back and Mario Galaxy 2 adds a few more for good measure.

Yoshi, the friendly dinosaur from Super Mario World (Super Nintendo), returns with some unique abilities of his own. His characteristic long sticky tongue can grab most enemies by simply pointing at them with the Wii remote and pressing the B button. This gives the player a great deal of accuracy in devouring pesky foes as well as fruits which sometimes affect Yoshi in strange ways.

If there's one thing that stands out about the Super Mario Galaxy games, it's the inventive level designs. Some levels are a series of small "planetoids", each with their own bite-sized challenges, that Mario catapults to from one to the next. It's the cumulative effect of planet hopping between half a dozen of these in a row that creates the level. Others play out more like a typical game level where you have one large planet filled with obstacles that must be overcome, all in the hopes of snatching that golden star.

Graphically the game is virtually identical to its predecessor, which was already one of the Wii's best looking titles. More colourful than a rainbow and packed with character, the visual buffet on offer is a feast for the eyes. The music is once again orchestrated and contains a handful of intense tracks which really up the ante in certain scenarios.

Some improvements to the overall game structure help smooth out some minor annoyances from the first Mario Galaxy. Instead of having to find your way around a fairly large hub to access levels, you now have the ability to jump to any of the game's worlds from the map screen via Starship Mario. A handy signpost next to Starship Mario's steering wheel lists all the available levels and what stars or coins you've collected. Together, these additions make it easy to quickly get to work on any given challenge.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is more than just an expansion pack for the first game, and may even be its better despite lacking the former's freshness. The dozens of levels are completely new, and the addition of new power-ups and Yoshi alter the underlying play in profound ways. Clearly the designers had plenty of ideas after the first game that they wanted to implement, and I'm glad they did. While the Mario series may have suffered some less than spectacular installments in the past, the current crop represent a level of spit and polish that is simply unmatched. In a world of game sequels, this is one that I would urge you to pick up.

After completing Super Mario Galaxy 2 which was actually a chore because for some reason I was never invested in the game at all. I was hoping for something original to a Mario game. You think by now Nintendo would switch things up rather than "Bowser captures the Princess" but that's the extent of the plot.

If there was one thing I was excited about more than anything else, that would be the music in this game. The first Super Mario Galaxy, which is one of my all time favorite games, had a full orchestra to accompany the score and it's probably the best video game, heck better than most movie scores I have ever listened to. It's a real marvel and Super Mario Galaxy 2 is no exception. I still think the first one had the upper hand cause it had the Good Egg Galaxy theme. If you don't know what it is, look it up on youtube or something.

But the core of the Mario games has always been about gameplay and although Mario's gameplay is fun, it doesn't really deviate too much from the original. You still waggle the controller for Mario's spin attack and the butt stomps and flying across to different planets. Nothing much as changed there. The only real addition is the use of Yoshi which adds an extra layer to the gameplay. Mario finds an egg, hatch it and ride Yoshi and uses his tongue to eat things and swing across. Sometimes you get these hot peppers and Yoshi runs real fast. These areas are quite fun.

One thing that always bothered me about Mario games is that for a game for kids, Mario sure picks on enemies a lot. He reminds me of a bully in school wanting your lunch money. In this case, Mario would bully a sleeping monster or a baby still in its egg and he would pick a fight with it just to kill it and steal that star he's been looking for. As I'm fighting this enemy that I just woke up from its sleep, I felt it was no wonder this thing wanted to kill me. If I was woken by someone landing on me or simply hitting me, I might try to fight you too.

It's still a Mario game and there are surprises in store like the Throwback Galaxy which I had a lot of fun in. Not a lot of the worlds you go in really impressed me this time. In fact, I wanted them over with quickly, which thank God it does. However, Mario is Mario and I'm hoping for a third installment in the series that will take a little more chances with this franchise.

I wonder what the next new Mario game after Galaxy is going to be. Super Mario Other Dimension?
