    Spoiler alert!

Caught Love Stalker on Comcast after I found out it was shot in Saint Louis. It was surprisingly funny! Pete, played by Matt Glassen was surprisingly believable, witty, and hilarious. Good story, good casting, good cinematography, good editing, good sound, all shot on location it seems, and it worked! Most of the time I don't give the lower end films a chance, but I actually sat through it, and enjoyed it. The twist in the middle of the act where he breaks into her house] was very apparent too, the transformation was so well played, darker, faster edits, much darker, more stylized cinematography, and the acting on Pete's part was really brilliant. To find out it was shot here in Saint Louis (and showcased a lot of the landmarks, like the old del taco, the arch, etc) that was wonderful as well. I wasn't really aware of a film scene here in Saint Louis, but I'll definitely be looking out for more in the future. Not a movie for the wife and kids though -- more for that bar-going bachelor, (or one who wants to relive the good Ole days) Worth a watch!

Crazy has a penis and his name is Pete – "Player Pete" to be precise. Played by writer/director Matt Glasson, Pete is your standard run-of- the-mill 30-something playboy phony. A legend in his own mind and there's only one thing on it, having throwaway sex with women. He might have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for him seeing red! And her name is Stephanie, a savvy relationship blogger and sassy seductress. Boasting a respectable performance, Rachel Chapman plays Stephanie with bankable persuasion. In this case, Hollywood's likable good girl is almost insufferable in her affection for Pete. That is until of course, our villain's love-karma ripens, his luck festers and Stephanie discovers that her number is up – in a little red book that shows Pete's true colours. What happens next can only be described as tempestuously satisfying. For anyone who has had their heart mangled by way of a playboy (or girl), dare I say you won't be disappointed?

What "Love Stalker" lacks in excellence it makes up for in effort. It's clumsy at times and slow to start, but the pulse picks up and will get your blood flowing eventually - certainly enough to stay interested. And you may even laugh a time or two! Keep an eye on James Spader look-a- like and Pete's sidekick, Tony (Darek Russell) and a sprinkling of other genuinely funny bits to boot. The ending is predictable but that's not meant to be demeaning. Everything happens as it should, I think.

An aptly coined unromantic comedy, "Love Stalker" makes for a commendably good effort.
