The story of Aung San Suu Kyi as she becomes the core of Burma's democracy movement, and her relationship with her husband, writer Michael Aris.
Written over a period of three years by Rebecca Frayn. Interviews with key figures in Aung San Suu Kyi's entourage enabled her to reconstruct for the first time the true story of Burma's national heroine.
Michael is shown in his office in November 1998 with an iMac. Whilst the iMac G3 came out in August 1998 the Tangerine version in his office was not available until January 1999.
