Orange finds a small fish and takes it home. Soon it reveals to be a tadpole, and grows very fast. Orange devotes all her time to her new pet that she neglects her friends. The frog keeps growing and causes troubles and inconvenience to the whole neighborhood. Orange tries to amend things and make everyone happy, but the frog is displeased with his living conditions. Finally, Strawberry makes Orange realize that the best thing she can do for the frog is to return him to his natural home.

Blueberry plants seeds of what is supposed to be daisies, but turned to be corn. The plants grow to huge size and the ears fall on the ground, making it unsafe for everyone. The girls decide to take the corn ears away from the village and make popcorn, but on the way one of the ears roll down the hill, and it falls into a crevice with Strawberry and Blueberry. They find themselves in an underground cave with steam geysers. By placing the corn seeds on the steam vent, the girls make popcorn and get themselves out. The girls and the Berrykins celebrate the popcorn party.

Strawberry and her friends are excited to hear Princess Berrykin announcing that an old tradition is to be brought back - the Berry Bitty Buggy Derby. Blueberry is given the task of manner expert. She finds a book about the etiquette rules of the Derby, and explains them to her friends. However, Blueberry takes the whole idea of good manners too far, keeps reminding everyone how to behave at various occasions, annoying her friends. Strawberry explains Blueberry it is rude to correct rude manners in public.

Plum invents a new dance for the dancing competition and persuades her friends to join. The dance proves to be too complicated and the rehearsals are exhausting, and that takes the fun of the whole thing. Soon Plum's friends are in no shape to perform. At Strawberry's suggestion, Plum asks the Berrykins to replace her friends. The Berrykins do not take the dance seriously, but Plum listens to Strawberry and lets them perform as they wish. Plum joins them, and they end up the winners much to everyone's joy.

The whole village is busy with preparations for the upcoming Glimmerberry Gathering. Strawberry cleans her café for the First Frost celebration, finds an old box containing a book about the first winter in Berry Bitty City, and reads it to her friends. The story reveals the reason for the custom of carving Glimmerberries. The girls are fascinated by the idea, and decide to make their own Glimmerberry designs. However, they are upset to find out their designs are all the same, and accuse each other of copying. Strawberry shows everyone that the particular design is carved on the chest lid and on the book cover, and from there they all took the idea. Peace is restored, and the festival takes place much to the delight of everyone.
