Norway, WWII: A group of British and German soldiers find themselves stranded in the wilderness after an aircraft battle. Finding shelter in the same cabin, they realize the only way to survive the winter is to place the rules of war aside.
Rupert Grint first film after the Harry Potter franchise.
Gunner Robert Smith:
Put the gun down.
Leutnant Horst Schopis: You put the gun down.
Gunner Robert Smith: How did you get it?
Captain Charles P. Davenport: It's a little complicated.
Leutnant Horst Schopis: I'm willing to low my gun. If you do the same.
Gunner Robert Smith: And end up in a German prison camp? No fuckin' thank you!
Lt. Davenport is wearing a Royal Marines shoulder patch which is clearly visible when they are preparing the sled with Schopis. The Royal Marines had no aircraft and hence no pilots. He should've been wearing a Navy patch. In the real life events on which the movie was based on, Davenport and Smith (their real names were Partridge and Bostock) were flying a Royal Navy Sea Skua fighter bomber and they were both Navy officers.
