It's not about his life so much as his life's work, focusing entirely on the movies (skipping over most of the television). He has a monotonous droning voice, but he has lots of insight and offers a frank view of his work. I'd like to see an even longer movie that talks about his life in addition to his work, but for what this movie was, it was great. Certainly makes you want to revisit his films you haven't seen (or haven't seen in a long time).
