PG-13 | | Action, Adventure, Drama
Robbed of his birthright, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy - whether he likes it or not.
Very little of Toby Harold's script was used. Producer Lionel Wigram rewrote it considerably.
I'm not getting drawn into this mess! There's an army of you, there's only one of me! I'll talk, I'm happy to talk. But there is NO WAY that I am fighting.
Towards the end of the film, the Vikings are asked to kneel before Arthur. The leader of the Viking delegation, just before kneeling, gives an exaggerated, arms-out shrug of submission, then the camera switches to a shot from behind where the Viking leader does the exact same shrug.
