Need for speed is like the call of duty of racing a new one each year you can look forward to. this time around we have the Run. is it a cross country epic or does it burn out in the first lap lets find out.

story wise there's not much here you play a driver of a fast car and you are trying to win a cross country race without being disqualified by the mob standard story fair with no real twists or turns.

what dose have twists and turns is the game play which is tight as ever you play across several maps mostly in a car but sometimes you have to get out of the car (Gasp) but only in an amusing QTE sequence every once in a while which are action packed and exciting and the tight game play is prevalent over to all modes.

graphically the game is great. a little more time on the human models would be good but the cars look fantastic as do environments as you race across America to survive

all in all a solid NFS title that does a bit to mix things up but not to much that it unrecognizable story 5/10. game play 8/10. graphics 9/10. replay 7/10. for newbies the game is enjoyable and fun to new racers8/10. for vets the game play is mixed up and is surprising and fresh for people who played the older games to experience a true story mode 8/10. overall 8
  • I loved the idea behind the story. It's probably the best nfs story as of right now. The gameplay is trash though. But if there were a movie about this i can already tell you it would be better then all nfs games.

Every Need For Speed has the usuals. A Map That Race in Circles, A Faceless Driver and racing against fellow NPC drivers. In my experience my first Need For Speed game from my Game Boy it did not even have a decent story but this game has.

The best part of this game is that in The Run mode I get to play as Jack Rourke rather than just another nameless driver who can't even talk or show his or her face. One of the thrilling part that surprises me of this game has quick time events. Rather than just racing cars it is all about the survival on makes Need For Speed absolutely great. Its like Grand Theft Auto but only racing and quick time events. Plus I didn't know that there are actually guns in the game which not just I have to avoid get crashed or being arrested I also have to avoid getting shot to death.

There are some varieties of cars to choose from and although there not really customizable picking a car means that I ha to play it smart in other to pass a level. And the graphics in the game is absolutely stunning passing through obstacles and all.

However the bosses did not have any character development like the Boss races but still they are absolutely challenging.

I hope one day this game gets its own sequel.

In this game you can very easily wreck your car if u hit on a cone which is on the road. There are countless glitches and in each time if u manage to complete the level, by keeping in mind how hard to control the car in this game is, it suddenly stops and all the checkpoints u have crossed u have to do all over again and it happens over and over
