This is a good film that effectively combines coming of age with science fiction. A Goth girl makes a robot inspired by Edgar Allan Poes' works to keep her company at school. It works as a friendship story, an abandonment tale, and a family drama. All in all a good piece of work that deserves acknowledgement.
