  • Feel good and charming Christmas movie. It is expected story, althout it's not tiring and it is easy for watchig. I would say 6/10 if you don't have big expectations and you know that Christmas movies have pretty simple story. Cast is actually pretty good, kids played like a pro, keep it up :) I would say it is better then expected for TV movie. If anything good cames from platforms like HBO and Netflix are Christmas movies. There are every year with 2 or 3 good and this year this will be one of them. Side note, movie would be great for watching with kids, without violance or disturbing scenes.

Trees are green, grass is green and just starting to look brown, but it's supposed to be in Oregon at Christmas time. Such a simple detail that was overlooked. Also, it's sad when a movie focuses on material possessions. Some of the wealthiest people are not rich in material possessions. The children in the movie are very talented. Musically, this movie is lacking. Music is very intertwined with Christmas, at least for me. I have to type many letters before this review will be accepted, so I will continue to ramble on. Christmas is a very special holiday. Full of family memories, love, and giving.

    6/10
    Good
I don't usually watch these types of movies, the only reason I decided to watch this one because of the interesting trailer, a good cast and it's from Warner Bros. And I'm glad I gave it a try. A cute little Christmas movie with lots of heart and love. McGraw sisters doing fantastic performances and I can't wait to watch more from them.

This small film about children acting as detective sleuths is sweet, good fun and a perfect film for Christmas without it becoming cheesy It still has those core family values about being together, working together for justice to be made, kindness etc The children act good enough and come off as sweet huggable smart kids. The adults act with respect all throughout towards each other and towards these little sleuths, even the criminal comes across as a decent person with issues.

The film never feels long, holds your interest throughout and the written characters are true to their form without any red herrings thrown in.

All in all a nice and smart film.
  • I absolutely loved this film. I am going to watch this over and over for years to come. It was beautifully made and all the roles were played wonderfully! It has enough warmth, excitement, romance and adventure for a great family movie night! And a totally believable caper too...it made me miss my grand babies, my kids and my parents, all of whom I don't have nearby to see, so this movie was heartfelt for me. The set was also really great and I love how rustic and small town vibes were portrayed. All the kids were great in their roles, especially Violet Mgraw, Lauren Lindsey and Leonardo Cecchi. Then seeing Chris Sanders go from goofball in LMS sitcom to a drama role, he was brilliant. What can you say about Eddie Ciberian, he's lovely, just wish he had more screen time. But I get it, the stars of the film were the kids no they were awesome!!!
  • What a sweet and comforting Christmas movie!! I loved the unique plot and the talented actors. It' wasn't too exciting (which I enjoyed) but not at all boring (which I also enjoyed).

Part of it was, of course, kind of easy to figure out, but nonetheless I found it very refreshing and not too "Hallmark-y". I didn't cringe, and that, as you probably know, happens a lot with Hallmark-y films.

Some of the acting in a couple of scenes was a bit meh, but in my opinion this was only the case with some of the side characters, and it didn't really bother me.

All in all, this was super cozy - it's worth a watch!!
  • This movie was perfect for the family with a 5 year old and a 7 year old. They enjoyed figuring out who the thief was. A happy ending topped the fun. Enjoy!

The site wants more of information, so we watched it in two sessions. This was fine with no need to rework md. It was also good for the grandparents, who were visiting. Each character was believable for he parts played. We loved the small town setting. The scenery was lovely with the western background.

Surely all generations will enjoy this movie. I hope you get a hot chocolate, tune in, and relax. You will be rewarded with a feel good experience.
