I got to see the pilot episode at Universal studios last week. It was good. Not sure if it is good enough for me to tune in every week, as I am burned out on medical drama. Lots of predictable characterful archetypes that will do all the things you expect them to do.
Pro: Jason Ritter is great! Most of the cast is great. I like the dorm settings for the intern, that is something new in med drama. Michael B. Jordan is really good, and I want to see more of him in it!
Con: It's all been done. Predictable Seeing a doctor use illegal drugs on a recreational basis is disturbing (and I am not talking pot) They have every medical drama archetype known to man. Grumpy knowledgeable doctor. Heartless but smart female. The Lovable does the right thing doctor, who is all ready in love with Cute Blond doctor who may not be as good, but all ready has a boyfriend but lives faraway.
I could go on but i wont.
I will watch 3-5 episodes to see if its any-good.
