Oh the possibilities and what could had been such a great show. Had it not been canceled by Fox. As they have a habit of canceling shows just as they are about to get good.

But the lead characters were the weakest and they just went nowhere. As I have mentioned many times, I preferred the supporting cast over Sam Neil and Sarah Jones. They just seemed less than one dimensional characters.

As the season finale became the series finale. On what could had been a great show. Unfortunately, darn it Fox had to cancel it. Just as it was getting to developed.

We see a layer of Hauser's humanity and how Lucy brings out the best in the grouch. As Lucy was the best and interesting actress and person of the group. Along with Dr Diego Soto. As he finally stood up to Hauser in withholding the key.

With Rebecca in a coma due to her grandfather stabbing her and killing her partner as well. When we see her in the end, it shows her being dead or is she? The chase will remind people of the classic "Bullit" with the late Steve Martin.

Oh well farewell Alcatraz as we hardly knew ya!

It never really warmed to an audience that had very unlikable characters except Jorge Garcia and the British Indian later.

As they underused the latter as both were more likable than the leads. Too bad arrogant a-hole boss Hauser never got his just desserts and Detective Madison in trying to confront her evil "grandfather" got stabbed and possibly died.

At least Hauser showed he had some humanity but the guy needed to be put in his place and lacked any kind of empathy. A boss from you know where.

Madison I was warming up to a bit. Still wished it never got canceled.
