It's hard to believe that one of our favorite sitcoms from the 2000's turns 15 today -- "Malcolm in the Middle." Yes, we feel old too ... life is unfair. The series followed "middle" child Malcolm, played by Frankie Muniz, a high school student with a genius Iq and embarrassing family of six (later seven). With a smarty pants, a military teen, a bully and the one and only Dewey running around the house, parents Lois (Jane Kaczmarek) and Hal (Bryan Cranston), definitely had their hands full! So, what have these stars been up to in the last 15 years?Muniz continued to act after the show’s cancelation in 2006, appearing in the Syfy film "Blast Vegas" and an episode of "Don't Trust the B In Apartment 23." He has two films slated for this year: "Hot Bath an’ a Stiff Drink 2" with Robert Patrick and "Road to Capri" with Virginia Madsen and Alfred Molina.

TV on Tap: Tim Gunn’s Expanded Role “Project Runway” and “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” Gets a Big Debut
News
Syfy’s upcoming drama Helix (from Battlestar Galatica producer Ronald D. Moore) has picked Billy Campbell for a leading role, according to Deadline. Campbell will play a divorced doctor who is part of a team investigating the outbreak of a deadly disease.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed this means Billy Campbell will finally be on good show.
Pan Am fave Karine Vanasse will appear in a multi-episode arc on Revenge as a woman from Daniel‘s past. If they can find an excuse to get Vanasse to sing “Deutschland Uber Alles” again, I’ll be happy.
The Hollywood Reporter digs into the behind-the-scenes drama at Community and series creator Dan Harmon. It’s an interesting peek, at the very least.
Abby Huntsman, daughter of Republican presidential candidate Jon Huntsman, is joining the panel of MSNBC’s The Cycle, replacing S.E. Cupp. I’d like to think this means...

The official poster for the most recent Syfy original movie proclaims, “Sharknado. Enough Said!” But the Internet sure had a lot more to say about the TV movie, which premiered Thursday night and stars Tara Reid and Ian Ziering battling sharks swept up in a tornado headed straight for Los Angeles. The perfect storm of sharks, disaster porn, and C-list actors struck a chord with viewers, eliciting a tempest of tweets, a gale of GIFs, and even a drizzle of daytime news coverage.
During its TV run, #sharknado and #TaraReid made waves on Twitter. Reid and Ziering promoted the program via the social-media site,...

The mind reels, doesn’t it? Sharknado. What will it be? Do sharks swim in circles and cause a tornado? Are the sharks actually in the tornado, and somehow survive long enough to eat people as they tear across the heartland? Well, guess no further; Syfy has put an end to the speculation with this press release about the Original Movie, which features Ian Ziering (Beverly Hills 90210), John Heard (Home Alone) and Tara Reid (The Big Lebowski).
But wait, there’s more! The press release also covers another Original Movie, featuring Frankie Muniz (Malcolm in the Middle) and Barry Bostwick (Rocky Horror Picture Show): Blast Vegas. Not even remotely close to Sharknado in the Awesome Name category, but I’m always happy to see Brad whenever he appears, with or without Janet.
Please note that since Syfy is spending the summer airing Primeval New World and Sinbad on Saturday...
