Harvard Park is a sports documentary based on a baseball park in a crime ridden area of South Central LA. Story revolves around professional baseball players Eric Davis and Darryl Strawberry running a winter workout program for African-American minor league and major league players. The workouts took place at Harvard Park where gang activity and drug use took place on the outskirts of the park. Both Davis and Strawberry talk about racism in baseball. Davis tells a story of Reds owner Marge Schott calling him a "million dollar n*gg*r" and using that experience to drive him throughout his career. The documentary also details both men's battle with prostate cancer during their playing careers and being diagnosed with the disease a year apart. Both players play 17 years in MLB with Davis being inducted into the Reds HOF and Strawberry in the Mets HOF.
