  • This is one of 8 movies that I acquired when I bought the compilation DVD called "Extreme Zombies Movie Collection" some while ago. To be totally honest, I didn't expect much when I bought it and I had hoped that at least one or two might have some redeeming value. Although I haven't quite seen all of these films, I must admit that so far only "Office of the Dead" has received higher than average marks from me and this particular movie is no exception. Of course, this came as no real surprise for me when I saw that its main claim to fame was having "Ron Jeremy" splashed all over the DVD cover. Talk about a dubious achievement. Be that as it may, this movie essentially concerns itself with a mad scientist named "Professor Jackson" (Randal Malone) who has created a serum which can bring the dead back to life. However, to improve his serum he needs human bodies who have been sprayed with the serum just prior to death. So to obtain what he needs he sends out a party invitation to some college students and when they get to his lab he gets a hardened criminal named "Ronald" (Jed Rowan) to kill them for him. Rather ingenious I must say. In any case, as far as this movie is concerned it had several features which weren't nearly as good. For starters, the set basically consisted of a warehouse in the middle of nowhere which basically screamed "low-budget". Likewise the acting was extremely uneven with Anya Benton (as "Denise"), Shevaun Kastl ("Leah") and to a lesser extent Laura Artolachipi ("Caitlin") performing the best in my opinion. But what really hurt this film was the clumsy action scenes and very poor special effects. Again, they screamed "low-budget". That said, I have rated this movie accordingly. Below average.

This is a terrible, terrible film, extremely low budget, bad acting (especially professor Jackson, clearly never had an acting lesson!) poor cinematography, poor effects and makeup. Billing it with Ron Jeremy as the "star" attraction doesn't make it any better as he doesn't have very much screen time at all and has no impact on the overall film/plot.

Don't waste your time with this film , I had really low expectations of this film as I love a trashy movie but 15 mins in I knew I would have given up but didn't (I'm a sucker for a cheap movie!) however the end result is an hour and a half of my life I'm not getting back!!
