  • Warning: Spoilers
In the late 1970's/80's we would laugh and quickly end the viewing of Canadian movies because it was always painfully obvious, in the first seconds of a movie, that it was produced in Canadian. Poor production, superficial acting and lack of depth/believability consistently resulted in movies we did not want to watch. This changed and Canadian productions did improve.....a lot but this film is not just an over reach on every measure but an offence to anyone who has survived abuse from a parent. There are a couple of minor scenes that may reflect some insight but it doesn't translate to anything recognizable. In my opinion this is most definitely a "must NOT watch".
