Desperate to pay the bills and come through for their loved ones, three lifelong pals risk it all by embarking on a daring bid to knock off the very bank that absconded with their money.
In an interview for the film, Sir Michael Caine was asked if he believed his days were numbered. He replied by saying that everyone's days are numbered, even his granddaughter. Hopefully it will be 101. The question asked for days. His answer refers to years.

The movie claims the characters stole more than $2 million dollars in cash, which they carried out of the bank in a few duffel bags. Yet, $2 million in mixed denomination bills couldn't possible fit into the bags as shown. It would, in fact, weigh hundreds if not thousands of pounds.
