The musical part of this show was an epic failure. The whole story line with Kate and Walden just blows, and this episode demonstrates that perfectly. Honestly, like so many people have said, this show should have ended after season 8.

studioAT17 June 2021It's all too easy to say "Charlie Sheen years: good. Ashton Kutcher years: bad", but there was a lighter touch to the latters tenure, with some nice experimental moments along the way.
This is a fine example, by means of a musical number, and shows that when this show wasn't all about sex it actually could still be quite witty.
