In part two, DCI Jane Tennison remains convinced George Marlow is guilty of the brutal murders of advertising executive Karen Howard and prostitute Della Mornay. Three additional victims surface. When DS Otley lies about Jeannie Sharpe, murdered prostitute with marks on her wrists similar to the other victims - and a relationship with DCI Shefford, Jane wonders if the late inspector was involved with the murders. This nearly gets Jane removed from the case. Jane is both surprised and touched when her officers rally behind her and they continue the investigation of Marlow. WPC Maureen Havers has a huge brain wave and puzzle pieces begin to fit together. If Jane and her team can only locate the auto lockup where Marlow keeps his vintage brown Rover, they might be able to solve the biggest case in their department's history.
