When Belle is told by the villagers her father is 'crazy' after he 'raves about the Beast's castle' she wears her yellow ball gown which should make the villagers guess she had been to the castle especially as she never wore the dress before.
The film title and part of the closing credits are accompanied by French subtitles, to pay homage to the fairy tale's French origins.
