My friend and I have seen most of the nominated movies and television programs for the show this evening. However, it was impossible for so many people to watch the show because of how they chose to stream it. It was not available on The CW over the air for those of us without cable. Or you had to pay for YouTube TV or pay for DirectTV. I have over 10 streaming apps; I am not going to pay for another one to watch one show. Next - I do not know who made the decision to air the start time differently across time zones?! People in Arizona were getting new alerts on their phones about winners that had not even been presented yet because we were an hour behind. Do better next year, CC.

spielbag15 January 2024Not only were the ads more plentiful than time spent presenting the awards, but the show was not streamed live across time zones. Spoiler notifications removed the joy of seeing the spontaneous reactions winners/non award recipients.
Not everyone has the means to watch streaming services so the show's high volume of ads was lost on the few that tried to sit through them in wait for the next award. I will not be watching next year, unless significant changes to improve the broadcast for public consumption anre made. And, that's saying something as I love seeing the industry appreciate the efforts of those that entertain.
