  • Clearly a lot of time went into it, a good zombie disaster movie :) Special effects and story plot were well thought out and the movement through various scenes in Hampshire gave a good feeling if what an apocalypse would be like in this area. Considering the budget, this film was well done and had enough detail to sustain an audience throughout.

Definitely worth a watch and some of the gore humour really made this film stand out over others. The light hearted approach at points also gave for an all round good bit of entertainment.

Well done, cracking effort. I look forward to the sequel !!!!!!
  • A fabulous addition to the Zombie genre with a lot of work going into it. Hard to tell it's an amateur film.

Superb acting by Russ Tribe who wrote directed and starred in this ambitious project. With great locations, drone shots and Zombie SFX this truly was an impressive effort.

There were some laugh out loud moments and also moments that made you gasp and cry.

I would recommend everyone to give it a watch and also encourage people to join the long running amateur film club that helped make it all possible.

The kids were also impressive all in their first roles with a special mention to Ella Tribe as Sarah.
  • So, this is really the answer to the question of what would you get if you put together the best bits of Shaun of the Dead, 28 Days Later and The Last of Us all together.

I watched this at the premiere of the film at the Picturehouse Cinema in Southampton, and it felt just at home watching it on the big screen. The sound editing in particular just kept the pace of the movie pushing forward, as well as keeping us on the edges of our seats. Of course everything else, from the actoring through to the directing (and not forgetting the amazing make up effects) exceeded expectations.

The time flew by and the surprises kept going right up to the last shot.

    Warning: Spoilers
Been waiting a while to see the finished film... The covipocolypse reared it's head and made us all wait. Got to see it at the Premier in Southampton and it was worth the wait. Personally I loved the zombie horde, but then I may be a little bit biased there! The story was a good twist and especially the idea of stuff left somewhere will just sit there waiting to be picked up again months later... That worked really well as a plot device. Nothing. G in the film has made me change my mind on corned beef. It is still evil stuff that not even a zombie will touch.

All in I enjoyed this film, the effects and humour were all spot on.
  • Warning: Spoilers
This is a really good suspense horror film with some really good surprises. I think this is Russ Tribe's first film as a director? I hope to see more from him as he's going somewhere!

Acting was great, loved the effects for a lower budget non-hollywood film, I really felt part of the action.

The story takes you with the protagonist from the start of the apocalypse through to, what I thought, was a really cool ending and makes you really think about what Jack was going through, and how his perception of the world changed at that point, left to the viewers imagination! Love it when films end like that and you can invent your own sequel.

    Deffo worth a watch!
  • I watched the premier with my wife and adult son and we talked about the film for the week after. Filmed, edited and produced on a budget this is still one of my favourite Zombie films.. There was a hint of humor in places, and plenty enough meat to the story to keep you interested.. The main Hero is played by Russel Tribe who also wrote the story and advertised the through local media for extras to act as the many Zombies that created the horde, most who did their own makeup and wardrobe.. and although this isnt a high budget blockbusting film it is thoroughly enjoyable and doesnt have too much of an ameture feel. I can honestly recommend this as a great watchable film.
