London, April 14 – Spanish tenor Placido Domingo has said that he is very happy to be signing again on stage after undergoing colon cancer surgery.
“The joy at returning to Milan is immense,” the BBC quoted Domingo, 69, as saying.
He will sing in Verdi’s Simon Boccanegra at Milan’s Teatro alla Scala for six shows opening on Friday.
Domingo is now suggesting people to undergo regular screenings of colon cancer as its one of the biggest cause of deaths in Us.
“I, evidently, hadn’t.
