Every time Fear the Walking Dead finds some semblance of potential, the writers waste it on mind-numbing, eye-rolling developments.
Fear the Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 14 was supposed to be the big war we've been promised all season long, but instead, it was another case of untapped potential.
You can't promise war and not deliver unless there's an excellent reason for it.
Alicia has been through it all, and she was dead set on avenging Will, and everyone else Strand wronged when she declared war on him on Fear the Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 8.
If you watch Fear the Walking Dead online, you know Strand has turned on his closest allies.
That part of him is consistent with the Strand we met all those years ago, but his indecisiveness about which side to choose in the end irked me.

Every year, June brings a sense of freedom. We're literally free from layers of cold-weather clothes, but we're also free to express our sexuality in whatever way we feel possible. He previously wrote, directed, shot, co-produced and edited the film “Strings” when he was 17 years old, a film that premiered at the Rome Film Festival and was then acquired by Vertigo Films. He won the Discovery Award at the British Independent Film Awards for the film, making him the youngest director to win a BIFA.

Exclusive: Studiocanal is teaming up with the creatives behind hit lockdown horror Host on a genre movie pitched to the Euro studio as “The Conjuring behind bars”.
Host writer-director Rob Savage will direct the film and Host writer-exec Jed Shepherd will produce with Studiocanal.
Brit filmmaker Savage told us the project is a “melding of the prison escape movie and the haunted house movie, in which a group of women who stage an unsuccessful breakout attempt discover a secret room that unleashes a dark presence that marauds the halls at night. The film will have a claustrophobic quality akin to The Descent“.
U.S. scribe Teresa Sutherland, writer on well-received 2018 frontier horror The Wind, is aboard to script the project.
Savage told us there are on-going conversations about whether the feature will be set in the U.S. or UK, though it currently incorporates elements of Brit folklore.

Ubisoft has revealed the date and name for their upcoming digital showcase which will seemingly replace their previously planned E3 2020 press conference.
The event, officially known as Ubisoft Forward will feature “exclusive game news, reveals, and more.” Ubisoft has also revealed that you can earn a free copy of Watch Dogs 2 just by watching the Ubisoft Forward event. You’ll just need to log into Uplay during the livestream in order to add a copy of the game to your account. Sadly, that offer is only available to PC users, but Ubisoft has hinted that they will offer additional rewards during the stream.

If anyone was going to send a love letter to disco and house music at a time when going to the club feels about as alien as wearing a dress made of cleaved meat, it’d be Lady Gaga. Although she initially had reservations about putting out Chromatica at the start of pandemic shutdowns, there’s something comforting about the way the album captures the feeling of banging your feet on a sweaty dance floor and bumping into strangers during the loneliest, most isolated moment in history. It might not...

On the Chromatica track “Free Woman,” Lady Gaga sings with conviction: “This is my dance floor I fought for.” She’s not exaggerating; her sixth album is, in many ways, about the journey that paved the way for the pop superstar’s triumphant return to dance music.

Can you believe Lady Gaga is only 34 years old?! It seems as though the singer, actress, and artist has lived about nine lives already; born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, she hit the scene in 2008 with her single "Just Dance" and has since made a name for herself as an accomplished songwriter and high-profile performer. Her look and sound have gone from pop-art princess to fashion-forward fame monster, and in 2016, she stepped out in glamorous gowns while hitting the red carpet for award shows and taking home a Golden Globe for her performance in American Horror Story: Hotel.
Also that year, Gaga released her fifth studio album Joanne and performed at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. In 2019, she won her first Oscar and is now halfway to achieving Egot status. Not bad for being in your early 30s! In anticipation of her forthcoming LP, Chromatica, we're taking a look back at...

At the end of the last volume, it’s safe to say that I found things a little disappointing because it’s where I really saw the cliched fanfiction tropes and it came across as fan service fluff until the very end of Vol.2. That said, this series of chapters in the story definitely put things back on the right track because it focuses a lot more on character and plot development.
Strings starts with Max revealing her powers to Chloe and Rachel so the weight she was carrying is now gone from her shoulders and Max wants to find a way back to her reality or string in the universe. It’s a slow start because the first ten pages or so are briefing Chloe and Rachel on things that we are already familiar with.

Lady Gaga is living for the applause! On Feb. 1, the 33-year-old singer took the stage in Miami to perform at AT&T Super Saturday Night. Ahead of the Super Bowl, the pop star treated fans to an outlandishly glitzy show and sang her biggest hits, such as "Just Dance," "Bad Romance," and "Born This Way." And, of course, she crooned the song of 2018, "Shallow." However, to many fans' dismay, she didn't perform her secret tune "Stupid Love," which leaked in January.
In true Gaga form, the blue-haired songstress donned a few dazzling costumes, including an iridescent jumpsuit and a bodysuit with a green tulle adornment. She also wowed the crowd by suspending herself from the ceiling of the venue, Meridian at Island Gardens, à la her Super Bowl halftime performance in 2017. Check out photos and videos from her high-flying set ahead!

Home of the Brave: Duran’s Debut a Neutered Examination of Grief During Wartime
There’s a war going on, though not one specifically referenced, mentioned or discussed. But then Daniel Duran’s directorial debut, Bravetown, seems happy examining exactly that, the ways in which people are unable to communicate clearly their emotions relating to the traumas that war has inflicted on them. Perhaps in an effort to elevate the material to a timeless realm, screenwriter Oscar Orlando Torres (Instructions Not Included) remains curiously vague on details, the only definitive reference pertaining to the Gulf War.

Daniel Duran's Bravetown is a textbook example of substance-over-style success: Aside from a showy opening (a tracking shot that snakes through a club, cribbing freely from Carlito's Way, Boogie Nights, etc.), the movie satisfies mainly due to its affecting ensemble and considerable emotional intelligence. Living in New York with his bottle-reliant mother (Maria Bello, in a cameo), seventeen-year-old Josh (Lucas Till) carves out some meaning for himself as an on-the-rise DJ. But when an episode with a pill yields an overdose — it's clear the drug is suspicious when the guy offering it dangles it in front of the camera — Josh is mandated to travel west and reside with the father (Tom Everett Scott) who left him at birth. Josh's ne...

Josh Duhamel and Alice Eve have joined Anthony Hopkins and Al Pacino in legal thriller Beyond Deceit, to be directed by scribe Shintaro Shimosawa (Fox’s The Following) in his directorial debut.
Malin Akerman, Byung-hun Lee, Glen Powell and Leah McKendrick will co-star in the pic, which centers on an ambitious young lawyer (Duhamel, replacing Dan Stevens after the latter actor dropped out over conflicts with Beauty and the Beast) who takes on a major case against the ruthless executive of a pharmaceutical giant, only to find himself framed for murder.
Eve will take on the supporting role of his wife, but it’s unclear whether Hopkins or Pacino will be playing the chief antagonist. Adam Mason and Simon Boyes (red-hot SXSW selection Hangman) penned the script, which Shimosawa then rewrote.
Beyond Deceit is just one more screen credit for Duhamel and Eve, who are each racking up tons right now.

In a visual flourish courtesy of pilot director Bryan Singer, Special Agent Milton Chamberlain is introduced in the world of "Battle Creek" from a low angle. Above his head, a circle of lights forms a halo. Milt Chamberlain is an angel. Milt Chamberlain is a boy scout. Milt Chamberlain is a golden boy. But Milt Chamberlain isn't exactly what he seems to be. Or at least Battle Creek Pd Detective Russ Agnew (Dean Winters) is convinced that Chamberlain isn't what he seems to be. But every time Russ thinks he's uncover the dark secret that his new partner is hiding, we discover that the secret isn't really the truth. It's a reluctant partnership that forms the spine of "Battle Creek," a quirky, surprisingly funny procedural that was created by "Breaking Bad" maestro Vince Gilligan and then developed as a series by "House" maestro David Shore.
