Bachelor fans have long wondered what happens in the Fantasy Suite when the cameras aren’t filming. Gerry Turner reveals what really goes down. Keep reading for all the details.
Fantasy Suite Dates Bring The Drama
Bachelor Nation shows are known for guilty pleasure entertainment but the real drama happens in the Fantasy Suites. This is the one area of the show that’s off-limits to cameras, giving the lead and their final choices a chance for privacy.
Some use that as a chance to be intimate, as Hannah Brown famously did in a windmill with Peter Weber… four times. Other times, the lead vows not to be intimate with any of the finalists only to break their word, like Season 27 Bachelor Zach Shallcross.
Some Bachelor Nation stars have been open about what happened during their Fantasy Suite dates, while others have kept mum. Golden Bachelor star Gerry Turner sheds...

Zac Efron was a new face in one of Seth Rogen’s raunchy comedies Neighbors. But a fight scene in the film ended up getting out of hand, resulting in Efron slightly injuring himself.
How Zac Efron injured himself in this Seth Rogen comedy Zac Efron | Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic
Efron didn’t have to audition for the hit comedy Neighbors. Rogen was already very familiar with the actor, and offered Efron the starring role that he gladly accepted. Efron played a wild sorority frat boy living next door to Rogen’s character, which the High School Musical star helped create.
“One thing he was vocal about, which was very smart, was making a movie that wasn’t just critical of fraternity life,” Rogen once told The Hollywood Reporter. “Most of us are nerdy comedy-writer guys, and he’s not, so it was very helpful to have the voice of the other group.

The last-minute concert cancellations seem to be catching.
Bruce Springsteen announced on social media today that his Wednesday night show at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park and a Friday night show at the same venue have been postponed.
It marks the second major concert postponement in the last week. Lionel Richie had to call off a sold-out Madison Square Garden show last weekend because of alleged difficulties making it to New York City in time.
The 73-year-old Springsteen didn’t detail what illness prompted the postponements. Dates will be rescheduled, his social media message said.
Earlier this year, Springsteen had to miss being honored by New Jersey with a proclamation declaring “Bruce Springsteen Day” because he contracted Covid-19.
“Please hold on to your tickets as they will be valid for the rescheduled shows,” the Springsteen tweet said regarding Philadelphia.

Exclusive: Warner Bros. Discovery (Wbd) and Britain’s Got Talent maker Fremantle have weighed in on the debate about the controversial creation of Channel 4 in-house.
In responses to the UK’s draft Media Bill, which, when passed, will see Channel 4 given the rights to own its shows for the first time in its 40-year history, the powerhouses urged protections for the dozens of UK producers that use Channel 4 commissions as the bedrock for the growth of their businesses.
Channel 4 in-house was unveiled when privatization plans were reversed earlier this year and is arguably the most controversial element of the new Media Bill, which will also see the streamers regulated for the first time and the introduction of broadcaster prominence rules, amongst other changes.

Both of these movies will air at 7 p.m. The network will announce additional titles for its”31 Days of Going Home for the Holidays” programming slate at a later date.
“A Clüsterfünke Christmas” stars Vella Lovell, Cheyenne Jackson, Ryan McPartlin, Nils Hognestad, Rachel Dratch and Ana Gasteyer and follows the story of real estate executive Holly who heads to a small town to buy the quaint Clüsterfünke Inn and transform it into a resort. While meeting the owners, Holly finds herself distracted by their handsome nephew Frank. It is a parody of more traditional holiday rom-coms.
Anna Dokoza directs “A Clüsterfünke Christmas,” which was written by Dratch and Gasteyer, who also executive produce alongside Meghan Hooper, Trevor Rose, Josh Van Houdt, Danielle von Zerneck, Jamie Goehring and Shawn Williamson.

Falling in love with fictional characters is never quite simple. But on Netflix’s latest K-drama Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, the two leads make viewers work for that love.
In the first installment, Hye Jin was the most lovable dentist. She fought for patient rights and quit her job after the owner of the dental clinic where she worked tried to gouge clients for services they didn’t need. She also mourned her late mother in a seaside town where she happened to help a little boy who had lost a tooth while playing with his bestie.

Being an Adam Sandler fan must be pretty sweet. Studios seem eager to throw money at every idea he proposes and he consistently appears in two or three films a year. The comedian is also famous for his large stable of regular co-stars and friends, often sharing a screen with the likes of David Spade, Kevin James, Steve Buscemi and Jon Lovitz. But perhaps his most famous co-star is Drew Barrymore, who featured opposite Sandler in The Wedding Singer (1998), 50 First Dates (2004) and Blended (2014).
The pair accepted the Dynamic Duo award during the recent MTV Movie & TV Awards: Greatest of All Time virtual event, in which the network celebrated some of the most iconic moments that have taken place during MTV’s existence. Sandler and Barrymore appeared together via video link, with the latter saying how much fun it was to make a film with her co-star in every one of the last three decades.

Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler reunited for an adorable reenactment of their 2004 classic movie “50 First Dates” on Monday, and let’s just say the last 16 years have made Lucy’s morning videotape a lot harder to comprehend.
The skit, part of Barrymore’s new talk show “The Drew Barrymore Show,” finds the pair right where they left off at the end of the beloved rom-com. Lucy (Barrymore), who has Amnesia, begins every day with a videotape from her husband, Henry (Sandler), explaining everything she needs to know about her life.
But in the year 2020, reality feels suspiciously like a sci-fi movie.
“You have a thing called Amnesia, and I am your husband. We have a daughter, and she’s about 40 now,” Sandler said in the clip. “I know it’s bananas, but I’m not done. It’s 2020, and we’re also in the middle of a pandemic, which is a terrible thing.

It often seems like you can’t get through any of Netflix’s menus without coming across at least one or two Adam Sandler movies. Be it something from his back catalogue or one of his efforts made specifically for the platform, it appears that he’s become a fixture of the streaming site. And given how often his films appear on the Top 10 charts, subscribers seemingly can’t get enough of him.
Indeed, the amount of Sandler-related content on Netflix is overwhelming, and there are currently no less than eleven of his films available at the click of a button. But Netflix isn’t the only streaming service where you can find Adam Sandler movies. In fact, next month will see one of his most beloved efforts hit Hulu, when 50 First Dates touches down on September 1st.

Less than two months after stepping down as CEO, Bob Iger has reasserted control at Disney as the company navigates the impact caused by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, according to a New York Times report published Sunday.
In an email to Times media reporter Ben Smith, Iger explained why he had stepped up even after handing the CEO reins to Bob Chapek, the former head of the parks and resorts division. “A crisis of this magnitude, and its impact on Disney, would necessarily result in my actively helping Bob (Chapek) and the company contend with it, particularly since I ran the company for 15 years!” he wrote.
Iger stepped down as CEO on February 25 with Chapek named as his successor. Iger retained the title of executive chairman with every intention of passing the baton. But in the weeks following his departure, the coronavirus pandemic forced closures of all of Disney’s theme parks and cruise ships.

If you grew up watching movies in the mid-to-late-’90s, you inevitably had a favorite Adam Sandler movie. Few actors have become comedic superstars the way Sandler did in his heyday. While the broad physical comedy of Jim Carrey began to wane into the new millennium, Sandler’s star status has continued to grow – he’s simultaneously one of the world’s most popular and contentious performers. From the immature, anger-prone protagonists of his early efforts like “Billy Madison” and “Happy Gilmore” to the genial-schlub leading men of “50 First Dates” and “Grown Ups,” Sandler’s persona has endured through every transition in the comedy world of the last 25 years.

Question: I’m loving The Good Doctor. Given that it is a David Shore show, is there any chance any House characters might at some point pop in for a cameo? —Matt
Ausiello: I doubt we’ll see any characters from House, since Universal owns those, but I would not be surprised at all if an actor from the original show were to check in at some point. (Robert Sean Leonard would fit in nicely at San Jose St.

A Us remake of Channel 4's Dates is coming to The CW.
The network has commissioned series creator Bryan Elsley (Skins) to pen and executive produce the adaptation, according to Deadline.
However, the Us version of the comedy will feature hour-long episodes, rather than following the half-hour format of the UK original.
Each episode of Dates focuses on a first date between two people who have met via online dating.
The first series of the original - which aired in the UK back in 2013 - has aired to lacklustre ratings on The CW this summer, but that hasn't stopped network president Mark Pedowitz from moving forward with the adaptation.
He said: "I like the format. I wish it performed better, but in summer you take shots. I'm very proud of it, and it was great getting Ben Chaplin on our air."

Here's one of those 'This'll make you feel old' factoids - it's two years since the last ever episode of Skins aired.
E4's groundbreaking hormone-fest wrapped up on August 5, 2013 - with an older Cook (Jack O'Connell) heading off into an uncertain future at the close of 'Rise (Part Two)'.
Cook was but one of 27 major characters featured on Skins across three 'Generations' - in a total of 61 episodes, split into seven series. But where are the teen tearaways of Roundview College now?
Generation One
1. Nicholas Hoult
Hoult played Tony Stonem - the pre-eminent bad boy of Skins - across its first two series. Later badly hurt in a traffic accident and forced to rely on others, Tony had mellowed by his final episodes.
Now aged 25, Hoult has become a bona-fide Hollywood star with roles in this year's Mad Max: Fury Road and the much-anticipated book adaptations Dark Places and Kill Your Friends.

A TV series from the UK, Dates ran for one season of nine episodes in 2013. While it seems unlikely that there will be a second season, The CW resurrected another UK series, Penn & Teller: Fool Us, and put it back into production several years after it was cancelled overseas. Will the ratings be good enough for the network to want a second season? Stay tuned.

Will Mellor has revealed that he hopes to surprise fans with his new role on Death in Paradise.
The Broadchurch actor plays doctor Karl Slater in this week's instalment of the BBC One series, a part he described as a "challenge".
"It was different for me - I don't play doctors very often," Mellor told Digital Spy. "I'm a working-class lad, so I play a lot of cheeky chappies.
"But I've been doing a lot more drama recently with Broadchurch and Dates, and I did In the Club on BBC One this year... so I'm hopefully going to do a lot more drama and challenge myself with different parts."

"I want to play a hero - I want to save peoples' lives," he said.
