In her first scene, Queenie is dressed in a style reminiscent of Blanche DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire (1951). Queenie's love interest is named Kowalski, which is also the name of Blanche's brother-in-law in that same play.

Newt Scamander: It won't be long.
Just before entering Newt's suitcase, a spot is visible on Kowalski's shirt (precisely on his left shoulder). As the sequence goes on, the spot disappears.
An occamy slithers into the film title to form the S in "Beasts".
