A game that only has one difficult trophy, which is saving the guy without any mistakes. But by persisting you can do it. There is no video to help with this trophy, just go and memorize the time to press the buttons and the buttons themselves. If you make a wrong button, press all the buttons until the character dies, then you can try several times without having to play the entire level again. It's a very good, touching, sentimental game that makes us reflect on whether wars are worth it (obviously not). The ending will break the heart of anyone who has been following the story. 100% #12 February 08, 2024.

cchenders4011 October 2022Great game, it's so cheap now it's worth playing to completion. It's an easy platinum or 100% gamer score. It's story is great and unique and it has a wonderful art style. The gameplay can be a bit boring and unrefined, but it isn't a game that is about the gameplay, it's about the characters, the history, and remembering the lives lost in war. The game also does a great job of showing multiple perspectives, evil happens on both sides of a battlefield. It's a honest and brutal take that pays off. If you're a gamer this is worth your time, if you have game pass ultimate it is worth your time, if you love history this is worth your time.
Also, I would love to see this game get more attention today so that Ubisoft would go back to this type of passion and creativity. Where are the valiant heart and child of light type games today? Give me more of that! -
sukhmanjitcheema23 December 2014Wow. Valiant Hearts is the best war video game depiction in years. It yearns for the deep, sadness that war creates and it does not exploit violence at all. You'd be surprised if this is not another Call Of Duty game or another gunning-down-people game etc. This game is different. It's artistic style promises a story full of emotion and heart, everyone should play this game- it has deep narrative and really good characters. This game takes place during the First World War, as you play as 4 different characters- and follow their story. The story has a emotional layout, so bring your tissues with you and your controller. Overall, it's an excellent game, one of the best games this year has to bring to you. Move over Farcry or Call Of Duty and let us explore the harrowing sense of War and the beauty that help can bring.

dvdn-2312024 May 2016This game is beautiful. I have played Hundreds of games, and this is my #1 favorite game of all time. The ending was sad (I cried) and the story-line is amazing. The voice acting is amazing, as it goes along with the characters and their time. It is set in 'The Great War' and you play as four different characters, Emile, Anna, Karl and Freddie. The most wonderful thing about this game is it is child friendly, because you never kill anyone (except for one part at the end.) The art style is gorgeous, and the characters are driven by charming stories, Emile trying to find his son-in-law Karl, Anna trying to find her father, Freddie avenging his wife and Karl trying to get back to his wife. If you look at pictures you may write it off as an "Another crappy 2-D game." but never, Ever judge a book by its cover. 10/10.

Heartburnt_Kid31 July 2020Emotional and heartbreaking events are scattered around the game, it tells you how impactful was the Great War through the eyes of a soldier to an ordinary citizen.
You are tasked with many war related quests like helping citizens trapped in debris. The gameplay is mostly based on puzzles and simple controls. It doesn't involve any violent combat if that's what you are looking for. Even with its friendly playstyle it can still deliver one of the most devastating and tragic scenes. -

unicorncliche22 August 2023What a great game! Even in the darkest time, men and women didn't complain and continue to fulfill his mission.
I was first fascinated by the image, then the settings, music and story lines. It's hard not to love every single element inside the game, to some points, it's immersive structure is much better than a war theme film.
Dearest Marie.... War makes men mad, life on earth is short, it is the will of God to separate us on earth, I hope we will meet again in heaven! Can't imagine how hard had he been through from a farmer to a soldier, in his heart, gratefulness was on top of everything else.
I wish I would fulfill my mission on earth and be not regretful.
