Autobots and Decepticons are at war, with humans on the sidelines. Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth.
Part of the film was shot at Stonehenge. Michael Bay requested to shoot an explosion on the location, but was denied, so he had a set of Stonehenge constructed to shoot the explosion.
Where the hell is your so-called magician, Arthur?
Arthur: He'll be here, Lancelot!
When we first see the Samurai Autobot "Drift" in the junkyard he is balancing on his sword on the roof of a car causing no damage apart from a few scrapes. The sword alone would have been heavy enough to at least dent the roof, adding the weight of Drift would have caused him to skewer the car like a kebab.
SPOILER: There is a scene in the closing credits: a human team is investigating Unicron's horn in the desert, and Quintessa in human form meets them and offers her assistance.
