- TriviaMatt Reeves pointed out that the apes in Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014) don't wear clothing. The ape society seen in Planet of the Apes (1968) wears clothing, and Bad Ape is also supposed to be the start of a progression in this direction. To survive in a harsh winter, he wears heavy winter coats he scavenged. This is primarily necessitated by the fact that he is bald, similarly to Rocket. However, while Rocket likely has Alopecia, Bad Ape seems to have lost his hair from old age.
- GoofsWhen Caesar scans the camp with the binoculars, Luca asks in sign language if he's spotted the Colonel. Caesar responds despite the fact that he is looking through binoculars and couldn't have seen Luca signing.
- Crazy creditsThe 20th Century Fox fanfare is played through the use of Congo drums instead of the traditional percussion instruments.

Ignore the ignorant
Don't normally review. Some like a film, some do not. But when I see this film given 1* I have to say something. Ignore such people. They enjoy the power of criticising the efforts of others while having, I imagine, little talent of their own. The film is a masterpiece. A war film, comedy, tragedy and biblical. What more can one ask for? Enjoy!
