The daughter of an Imperial scientist joins the Rebel Alliance in a risky move to steal the Death Star plans.
It is unusual for a Star Wars film to be set in the Classic Trilogy Era, and for a Star Destroyer to not appear in the first scene. However, in keeping with tradition, a ship is seen flying either away from or toward the camera.

As the camera pans into the control centre of the data bank station for the first time, we see officers huddling around a couple of consoles. These consoles appear to be rugged and firmly planted to the deck. However one of the furthermost console was visibility nudged out of position as the camera away (towards Krennic).
Hidden in the credits is the title "Keeper of the Holocron." A Holocron is a cube-like artifact used by the Jedi to store information that were first mentioned in the Dark Horse comic book series 'Dark Empire. On the official Star Wars site Leland Chee was in charge of continuity and received the honorary title of 'Keeper of the Holocron'.
