Tarkin, portrayed by Peter Cushing in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) is now played by Guy Henry with a CGI replica of Cushing's face superimposed over his. Henry previously played Sherlock Holmes in Young Sherlock: The Mystery of the Manor House (1982) during the 1980s, using Cushing's role in Sherlock Holmes (1964) as his model.

A giant Jedi statue, lying in the sand, is at first lying on its left side (like in Trailer #2), but zooming out, it is lying on its right side.
Hidden in the credits is the title "Keeper of the Holocron." A Holocron is a cube-like artifact used by the Jedi to store information that were first mentioned in the Dark Horse comic book series 'Dark Empire. On the official Star Wars site Leland Chee was in charge of continuity and received the honorary title of 'Keeper of the Holocron'.
