Time travel will require us to figure out a whole new way of conjugating verbs. In this one, the boys decide they have become stagnant and decide to work on something new and exciting. Like playing catch instead of raking leaves, they are continually distracted. The girls go to Vegas and Penny turns out to be the responsible one. Lots of scientific obtuseness which is what TBBT is really about.

tavm12 November 2014This ep of "The Big Bang Theory" in a nutshell: Raj finds out something that Leonard remembered was something he thought of...before Penny moved to her apartment, two days later. So realizing that they've been distracted by their partners to do any brainstorming, they all resolve to do that. Leonard talks it over with Penny...who automatically decides to go to Las Vegas with Amy and Bernadette. The boys get distracted by deciding to watch Back to the Future, Part II which happens to take place a year from present time. (Hard to believe, huh!) Meanwhile, Penny finds out she has to do her job assignment since it's now due in couple of days instead of a week from now, leaving Amy and Bernadette to go to the bar. I'll stop there and just say this was another funny ep of this long-running series. I especially liked when Sheldon put his logical spin about Future Biff going back to his Past Self and his take on how certain things were changed or not. So on that note, "The Focus Attenuation" was another funny enough ep of "The Big Bang Theory".
