Actress Eiza Gonzalez, who is known for ‘Baby Driver’, has made her dating terms very clear. The actress has shared that anyone who doesn’t go to therapy cannot date her. The 34-year-old actress has been in therapy since she was young, and she considers it to be one of her dating “non-negotiables”, reports ‘Female First UK’. Eiza told InStyle, “I definitely have a list of non-negotiables. “If you’ve not gone to therapy. I’m not dating you.”
As per ‘Female First UK’, despite this, Eiza admitted that she was initially resistant to having therapy.
The actress shared, “I didn’t want to talk about my feelings, because I was in shock and I was traumatised, and I couldn’t bear the fact that my father had died.”
Now, though, Eiza is convinced that anyone and everyone can benefit from therapy sessions.

Over the past decade, Lily James has distinguished herself by building one of the most varied resumes as any film actor her age. After getting her start on British television, James first became known to American audiences in 2012 when she joined the cast of “Downton Abbey” as the love-struck Lady Rose MacClare, a role that earned James two Screen Actors Guild Awards as a member of the show’s ensemble cast.
The actress quickly followed up that television triumph with one on the big screen in the title role of Disney’s live-action “Cinderella,” directed by Kenneth Branagh, which clearly proved her appeal to audiences of all ages. One of the most reliable screen presences in recent years, James showed enormous range in choosing her projects, from such crowd pleasers as “Baby Driver” and “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again” to more intimate films as “The Dig” and “Little Woods,...

Comic book fans are all in anticipation of what the developing Dcu will bring to the table following the downfall of the old franchise. Thus, as David Corenswet was first rumored, but later confirmed to be playing the role of Clark Kent in the upcoming Superman, actress Eiza González was speculated to become the next Wonder Woman in cinema.

Several fans were hoping to see the actress take the role of one of The Trinity of DC Comics, but unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. In a recent interview, the actress revealed that she had already lost the role of Catwoman in Robert Pattinson’s The Batman to Zoë Kravitz, and in the future, she might not be playing a comic book character for a long time.

Kevin Spacey will star as The Devil in The Contract, aiming to resurrect his acting career. The Contract, inspired by classic thrillers like Angel Heart, remains mysterious as Spacey takes on the role of Satan in this upcoming project. Spacey has denied sexual misconduct allegations, returning to acting with last year's Control.
Controversial actor Kevin Spacey will star as The Devil himself in the upcoming thriller, The Contract. While it may be questionable PR, Spacey will star as The Devil for Italian filmmaker Massimiliano Caroletti, with the project reportedly the first of three movies in a series (via THR). The two-time Oscar winner continues his attempt to resurrect his acting career after largely staying away from the public eye in the wake of the #MeToo movement and several accusations of sexual misconduct against the actor which were unearthed.

South by Southwest is a festival like none other. Spread across the bustling streets of Downtown Austin, the convergence event truly has something for everyone.
South by Southwest, better known as SxSw, is a tech conference meets music festival meets film festival. With hundreds of films, bands, startups, and established brands all over the city, the energy is unrivaled.
This year is no different as thousands prepare to arrive at the Texas capitol this week.
I will be lucky enough to attend this year’s festival for a whole week and the film lineup is one of the strongest in years. SxSw is a great combination of established, anticipated films mixed with independent films with massive potential to be the next big thing.
In the past some of the competition films that have premiered at the festival have been Short Term 12, Peanut Butter Falcon, Tiny Furniture. Krisha, and more.

Creating eye-catching movie posters is an art. In the past, we’ve all seen some gnarly one-sheets that miss the mark due to formulaic layouts or studio interference. Thankfully, today’s new poster for The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (shown below) is on target, with cast members looking cool, dangerous, and ready for action. In the explosive poster, members of the film’s murder squad brandish weapons in preparation to punch holes in the enemy, and they’re not about to take any prisoners. The poster implies a fun, action-filled romp with Ritchie’s flare for ensemble dynamics.
Here’s the official synopsis for The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, courtesy of Lionsgate:
Based upon recently declassified files of the British War Department and inspired by true events, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is an action-comedy that tells the story of the first-ever special forces organization formed during WWII by...

Lionsgate has acquired domestic rights to the Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Lily James and Himesh Patel comedy “Greedy People.”
The film explores what happens when the eccentric residents of a small, picturesque island town are faced with a sensational murder and the discovery of $1 million next to the body. This sparks a series of increasingly bad decisions that do a number on the peace and tranquility of the community.
“’Greedy People’ is a hugely entertaining crime thriller in every way,” said Allison Lynch, Lionsgate’s director of acquisitions and co-productions. “Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Lily James, and Himesh Patel lead an incredible cast through twists and turns that range from the hilarious to the horrific – and the movie always keeps you guessing.”
The film’s starry ensemble also features Uzo Aduba (“Orange is the New Black”), Tim Blake Nelson (“The Ballad of Buster Scruggs”), Jim Gaffigan (“Chappaquiddick”) and Simon Rex (“Red Rocket”).

Exclusive: In the biggest acquisition to emerge so far at the nascent EFM, we understand Amazon Prime Video has sewn up a deal with XYZ for international rights to Eiza González (Baby Driver) and Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) sci-fi thriller Ash, the sophomore feature from producer, rapper and filmmaker Flying Lotus (Kuso).
We hear this is a high-seven figure pact, nearing $10M. Talks had been underway for a little while and the deal closed up this week.
Gonzalez will play a woman who wakes up on a distant planet and finds the crew of her space station viciously killed. She must decide whether she can trust the man (Paul) sent to rescue her. Iko Uwais, Beulah Koale, and Kate Elliott also star. The movie is in post-production.
As we previously revealed, Flying Lotus is composing an original score for the movie, which is based on an original screenplay by Jonni Remmler.

Ansel Elgort, Dev Patel, and Manu Bennett are among the potential actors who could be perfect choices to play Mitch Rapp in an American Assassin reboot. Chris Hemsworth was originally the first choice for the role of Mitch Rapp, but now Liam Hemsworth or Sam Worthington could be considered. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Oscar Isaac, Robert Pattinson, and Karl Urban are other actors who could bring their own unique qualities to the character of Mitch Rapp in a reboot.
It's interesting to speculate how Mitch Rapp of American Assassin fame could be revitalized with a reboot that takes advantage of the many possible casting choices for the character. Released in 2017, American Assassin didn't get a sequel, under-performing commercially and critically, but with such a rich legacy of author Vince Flynn's books featuring Mitch Rapp as a protagonist, the opportunity to revive the character is ripe for the taking. Though it’s based on a 2005 movie of the same name, Prime Video’s Mr. and Mrs. Smith is something that’s increasingly rare these days: an honest-to-goodness TV show. The Donald Glover and Francesca Sloane-created spy thriller understands the required rhythms of its medium very well. Each episode presents a self-contained chapter within the dangerous marriage of John (Glover) and Jane Smith (Maya Erskine) while also subtly forwarding their overall story.
The commitment to the usual TV format also means that Mr. and Mrs. Smith gets to introduce one hell of a roster of guest stars. Save for its finale, every episode of this show features at least one stupendously talented and famous guest star. If you’re wondering who each of these guest stars are or where you’ve previously seen them: don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. What follows is a list of the Mr. and Mrs. Smith cast,...

Even for Edgar Wright, a visually acute and idiosyncratic filmmaker, his 2017 heist caper, Baby Driver, is a supremely ingenious film. The film's direction and style are commanding on the screen. It is the kind of film that reminds general audiences of the power of the director. Baby Driver is filled to the brim with innovative cinematic flourishes and radiant influences that inspire budding filmmakers. Despite how shrewd and skillful Wright's vision was, it couldn't account for unfortunate twists such as rights refusals from the proprietors of a classic horror icon. However, Wright's denied permission to use the mask of Michael Myers from Halloween led to a hilarious joke in an already sharply humorous film.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith definitely didn’t surpass expectations, it mostly left us with question marks for expressions because of how lackluster the show really was. I suppose you could say there are some good parts; you’ve got beautiful sets and some fun fashion choices, but most importantly, a bunch of cameos that are meant to enhance the show considering how dull it is otherwise. Not to say that Donald Glover and Maya Erskine are incapable of holding our attention, but it’s probably a mix of the writing and the pacing of this show that had me completely bored by the end of it. And, no, even these incredible special appearances did not pique my interest in any way. However, they do add a little bit of fun, even if briefly, to the mostly tedious show. The first trailer for Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare debuted today.
Based upon recently declassified files of the British War Department and inspired by true events, The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare is an action-comedy that tells the story of the first-ever special forces organization formed during WWII by UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill and a small group of military officials including author Ian Fleming. The top-secret combat unit, composed of a motley crew of rogues and mavericks, goes on a daring mission against the Nazis using entirely unconventional and utterly “ungentlemanly” fighting techniques. Ultimately their audacious approach changed the course of the war and laid the foundation for the British Sas and modern Black Ops warfare.
Directed and co-written for the screen by Guy Ritchie, and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare stars Henry Cavill, Eiza González (Baby Driver), Alan Ritchson (TV’s Reacher...

Radio Silence Productions and Project X Entertainment, which were behind the revival of the Scream franchise with Scream (2022) and last year’s Scream VI, have formed a joint financing pact with studio MRC to fund and produce horror and thriller features, Variety reports. As part of this deal, the companies are aiming to produce two or three genre movies every year.
Radio Silence and Project X also collaborated on Ready or Not and the upcoming Universal vampire movie Abigail (formerly known as Dracula’s Daughter). As for MRC, that studio has been behind such films as Knives Out, Devil, Baby Driver, The Blackening, Saltburn, American Fiction, and Self Reliance.
Radio Silence members Chad Villella, Tyler Gillett, and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin provided the following statement: “To be able to formalize our alliance with Project X and work with a studio in MRC that champions original and fresh films couldn’t be more exciting to us as storytellers.

Jon Bernthal's role as Griff in Baby Driver leaves a lasting impression with his tough-guy demeanor and skeptical attitude towards Baby, making it one of his best movies. Griff's character hints at his potentially grim fate through a memorable line and his absence from the final heist, aligning with director Edgar Wright's style of leaving subtle clues for viewers. The completion of the Baby Driver 2 script raises excitement for a potential sequel and the return of familiar characters like Griff, although Jon Bernthal's involvement remains unconfirmed, leaving room for surprise.
Jon Bernthal's Baby Driver character never reappears after his brief few scenes, leaving viewers to speculate about what happened to Griff. The film tells the story of Baby (Ansel Elgort), a talented getaway driver with a penchant for music, which he uses to drown out a chronic ringing in his ears. Baby works for crime boss Doc...

Zorro and Expats are the big shows coming to Prime Video in January. The former is what Amazon are calling a “bold reinterpretation” of the classic hero El Zorro for 2024. Starring Miguel Bernardeau as Diego de la Vega and Renata Notni as Lolita Marquez, it’s definitely an intriguing-sounding action-adventure series, with a ten-episode first season based on the iconic character originally created by Johnston McCulley all the way back in 1919.
Meanwhile, upcoming drama series Expats is based on the bestselling 2016 novel The Expatriates by Janice Y. K. Lee, and follows “the vibrant lives of a close-knit expatriate community” in Hong Kong. Nicole Kidman has been known for picking the right kind of shows to lead in the past, so let’s hope this is another banger for the actress, who is also on board as an executive producer here.

Berlin has been the talk of the town ever since the show was released on Netflix. Shows of this genre bring back a lot of memories that allow the audience to stay on the edge of their seat and soak in the stories of the crime, which mostly glorify them. Some films are comedy heist dramas that justify the act, but there is a reason why the word ‘comedy’ is part of the genre’s name. Here is a list of movies you can watch if you like Berlin, the latest Netflix spin on the very popular Money Heist.
Red Notice (2021)
Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, this Netflix original movie was about Dwayne Johnson’s character going after a thief, portrayed by the very funny Ryan Reynolds. The film is a hilarious cat-and-mouse chase between law enforcement and an art thief. This is the premise of the movie until both...

"Smokey and the Bandit" was a delightful '70s action-comedy movie; it spawned two sequels, the first of which was pretty damn good. For a modern audience looking back, the series was also remarkably star-studded. It featured beloved late actors like Burt Reynolds, Jackie Gleason, Patrick McCormick, and Mike Henry, most of whom are still fondly remembered over forty years after the first movie came out. Although the series itself isn't quite as well-known among today's young viewer as we'd probably prefer, most of its cast certainly is.
But what about the actors in the series who are still alive today? What are they up to? Let's check in on the lives and careers of the remaining "Smokey and the Bandit" cast, and see how they're holding up. We might never get to see that Seth MacFarlane-penned revival series we heard about back in 2020, but it's not time to...

More than two decades ago, "Chicken Run" clucked its way onto the movie scene and became a runaway hit. The stop-motion animation movie was clever and strange, and unlike any of its contemporaries at the time (CGI-heavy flick "Dinosaur" and wacky Disney one-off "The Emperor's New Groove" bookended it at the year's box office). "Chicken Run" was also a surprisingly rich text, a movie that included plenty of moments of parody and humor meant to appeal to adults as well as kids.
The first movie functioned as a riff on "The Great Escape," the 1963 war film starring Steve McQueen, but the new sequel film, "Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget," chose a different parody path. In an interview with /Film, director Sam Fell confirmed that "Dawn of the Nugget" was influenced by heist films, so much so that it earned a pointed nickname during production. Jamie Foxx was born Eric Marlon Bishop on December 13, 1967. He changed his name when he began his career in stand-up comedy and chose “Foxx” to honor one of his comedic idols, Redd Foxx. He picked the first name “Jamie” because he noticed that female comics were usually given earlier times on open mic nights and he thought the androgynous name of Jamie might get him onstage earlier in the evening.
Foxx’s love of comedy began early. By third grade he was already doing stand up for his elementary school classes. His popularity was such that if the class behaved properly the teacher would reward them by letting young Jamie tell them jokes. He moved to Los Angeles when he grew up and began appearing on the comedy circuit until he was cast on the television sketch show “In Living Color” alongside other newcomers such as David Alan Grier and Jim Carrey.

Jon Hamm's strong comedic acting chops shine in films like "Keeping Up with the Joneses" and "Tag," where he adds humor and chemistry to the ensemble cast. Hamm's versatility as an actor is evident in his dramatic performances, such as in "Baby Driver," where he delivers a sinister and intense portrayal as the secondary antagonist, Buddy. Hamm's recent roles in television series like "The Morning Show" and "Fargo" showcase his ability to captivate audiences with his on-screen presence and chemistry with co-stars.
Jon Hamm may be best known for his role as Don Draper in the TV series, Mad Men, but he has many other characters that are worth consideration as some of his best. There's no question that Hamm has excellent comedic acting chops, which many films and TV series have put to work in recent years. Additionally, he still has a lot to offer in dramatic...

Edgar Wright's next project is a remake of The Running Man, based on Stephen King's novel. The Running Man is unlike any of Wright's previous works, and adapting a Stephen King novel puts extra pressure on the director. The original 1987 adaptation of The Running Man deviated from the novel and received mixed reviews. Wright must learn from its flaws and make a proper adaptation. He has the potential to succeed and save the novel's big-screen reputation.

While Edgar Wright has dabbled in action filmmaking before, a little with “Hot Fuzz” and ‘Scott Pilgrim,’ and much more with “Baby Driver,” he has yet to really do something that would be described as blockbuster filmmaking. However, back in the day, it appears Wright was offered the keys to one of the premier action franchises going today—the beloved “Mission: Impossible” film series—but he turned it down.

Edgar Wright appeared on the latest episode of the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast and went on a reflective rant about the current state of Hollywood’s intellectual property addiction (via IndieWire). Without calling out any franchises in particular, the “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” and “Baby Driver” director expressed frustration over the lack of breathing room when it comes to studios needing to plan and date multiple franchise movies over the course of a few years. Wright didn’t name Marvel, for instance, but that studio proves his point as it released six movies in the last two years.
“One of the problems with film franchises is sometimes when they announce — I’m not mentioning any names or anything — when they announce like massive slates of films and TV shows […] there’s a danger of killing the golden goose,” Wright said. “It is a weird thing: If I could go...

It turns out Edgar Wright conceived The World's End very early on in his filmmaking career.
Speaking with Inverse to celebrate his final Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy movie's tenth anniversary, Wright revealed that the "kernel of the idea" that became The World's End originated at age 21 for what was supposed to be his sophomore movie script. That movie would have followed a group of young friends embarking on a pub crawl together, a setup he eventually reworked into The World's End's intro flashback as remembered by Simon Pegg's character Gary King. He then conceived the new core of the movie as "the guys in their late 30s, early 40s going back to try it again? The idea of, 'You can never go home again,' and the place that you imagined that you grew up in just doesn't exist, but what if there was a reason for that:...

The heist genre encompasses a broad range of stories and styles, allowing for creativity and innovation. Heist movies can be thrilling, funny, or even blend elements of different genres to captivate audiences. Some standout heist films challenge traditional notions of the genre and address social issues like gender equality.
The best heist movies can fuse elements of many different genres. They encompass a broad range of stories and filmmaking styles because they are so adaptable. As long as a team of characters is all working together to steal something, then it falls under the category of a heist movie. The genre isn't restricted to any tone, time period, or particular style. Of course, the heist genre has more than its fair share of stereotypes, but the best filmmakers know how to use these to their benefit.

Fargo season 5 showcases Jon Hamm's talent as a menacing villain, as seen in his previous role in Baby Driver. Hamm's character in Fargo, Sheriff Roy Tillman, will serve as an antagonist to Juno Temple's hero character, adding complexity to the plot. Hamm's role in Fargo season 5 combines elements of his past work, including his leading role in Mad Men and his comedic performance in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
Jon Hamm’s new TV role as the villain of Fargo season 5 is a good career move for the actor, and a previous movie role shows why he’s so perfect for this character. Richard Bachman's 1982 novel "The Running Man" is set in the far-off future of 2025 when corporate America is ruling the country, people are having trouble finding work, and appearing on salacious government-run game shows seems like a viable way to make money.
Contestants in "The Running Man" are deemed to be enemies of the state and are sentenced to execution. They are then set loose and hunted by government assassins, each one outfitted with a colorful gimmick. The contestants earn $100 for every hour they stay alive, with a $100 bonus for each cop they kill. If they live for 30 days, they win a billion dollars. The public takes bets on how long the contestants will survive before their inevitable slaughter.
