Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, the upcoming animated series based on the graphic novels, reunites the cast from Edgar Wright’s 2010 film adaptation for a new take, produced by anime studio Science Saru and written by Bryan Lee O’Malley and BenDavid Grabinski. Once again, hapless 20-something Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera) will meet Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), the girl of his literal dreams — and fight her seven evil exes in order to have a chance with her.

Throughout the happenings at Princeton in 1955, there's an insidious feeling that Quantum Leap Season 2 Episode 6 will grow in significance as the season progresses.
On the surface, it's an exciting quest adventure, marrying the historical enchantment of the National Treasure franchise with the life-threatening pursuit by universal baddies of the Indiana Jones adventures.
But it also includes several pivotal moments for Ben and the Quantum Leap team as the secret of time travel has been revealed, and major events are set in motion.
Of course, there have canonically been others who have known about Ziggy and Quantum Leap. The O.G. series had Lothos and its Evil Leapers. Even Quantum Leap Season 1 had Martinez and his murderous military/government bosses. And, of course, there's Janis and Beth Cavalicci.
But sharing the secret of quantum time travel has always been understood by the team as something they cannot share outside the inner circle,...

Now that the countdown to Christmas is over, it’s time to look forward to the next holy holiday: The 100‘s fifth season premiere.
Granted, we don’t know when that’s happening, nor do we have a trailer with which to whet our collective whistle. Fortunately, we do have Jason Rothenberg. The CW drama’s showrunner has been stealth-tweeting screenshots from the Season 5 trailer (release date Tbd), giving us an early look at how our favorite survivors have changed during the major time jump. (Speaking of time jumps, I feel like we could all use one right about now.

Batgirl #40
Written by Brenden Fletcher and Cameron Stewart
Art by Babs Tarr; Breakdowns by Cameron Stewart
Colors by Maris Wicks
Published by DC Comics
With the news and controversy about its upcoming Joker variant cover which was pulled, Batgirl and its creative time have been in the spotlight for good or ill. At the beginning, Batgirl #40 is a little confusing with lots of transhuman and AI ideas connected to the villains that Batgirl has been fighting since the new creative team took over. However, Brenden Fletcher, Cameron Stewart, Babs Tarr, and Maris Wicks end up sticking the landing and have Batgirl exorcise demons in a quite literal way with the help of her supporting cast and the people of Burnside. Babs Tarr and Cameron Stewart create a flurry of panels to simulate Batgirl’s quick fighting style, and Tarr also gets to take another crack at showing her eidetic memory.
