Five days after its initial premiere in Temecula, CA, a young man killed 9 people at a church in Charleston, SC. Although not related, the opening scene is eerily similar to that tragic event and the timing of it casts a dark shadow over this film.
The film took 2 years for Matthew Rocca to write and because of its enormous cast, 2 years in production.
A church allowed the production crew to shoot the massacre scene, but only minimal practical blood was allowed on set.
Director Matthew Rocca contacted several churches who refused to allow such a violent scene to be filmed on their premises.
This film is fictional and not based on true events.
