PG-13 | | Drama, Romance
Retreating from life after a tragedy, a man questions the universe by writing to Love, Time and Death. Receiving unexpected answers, he begins to see how these things interlock and how even loss can reveal moments of meaning and beauty.
Are you losing somebody?
Madeline: I'm sorry?
Brigitte: Who are you losing?
Madeline: Um, my daughter.
Brigitte: Just make sure you notice the collateral beauty.
There are two explanations for why love, time and death were not seen in the videos. One is that they used editing software to remove them as stated earlier in the movie. This would be true if they were only actors. Otherwise, they could actually be love, time and death pretending to be actors, because they were also helping Howard's friends with their issues. The PI was hired to follow Howard, so would film any action on his part. She may not have seen Time, love and death since it was stated the one of their powers was to only appear to whomever they wish and be invisible to everyone else. You never saw them interacting with people around them except for the main characters.
The opening logos of Warner Brothers Pictures, New Line Cinema, Village Roadshow Pictures, Ratpac Entertainment, and Overbrook Entertainment are all in pure white, including the backgrounds, which then goes to a line of pure white domino type blocks ending with a clock shaped circle (also with pure white blocks on a white background) as the movies dialogue starts.
