The Beast, the antagonist, is shown taking several shotgun rounds directly to his chest and the rounds not penetrating the skin. While this is possible given the film's suggestion of his superhuman abilities, it is extremely unlikely that the rounds striking The Beast would not have caused him to flinch or even knocked him down. Shotgun rounds fired at point blank range can shatter masonry and deform light gauge steel, meaning that it would at least have caused pain to the antagonist.
The end credits are shown in 24 frames in the background of the scrolling credits to simulate the 24 different personalities that Kevin has in the movie.
