This is "Til It Happens to You", a five-minute black-and-white video, which is, I believe, the music video for Lada Gaga's song with the same name. That song comes from the documentary "The Hunting Ground" and came probably very close to winning an Academy Award (following an incredibly cringeworthy performance that lacked any subtlety at all) this year. I personally must say that I am glad the Academy went with Bond as, if you look closer, this song here offers really nothing beyond a catchy tune. The lyrics are downright stupid. It basically says that rape victims talk to those who want to help them in a derogatory manner telling them to get raped too in order to understand how they feel. And past that chorus there is little of substance in the song either, be it in terms of quantity or quality. Pretty uninspired really and the subject would have deserved a much more genuine and a much deeper song to represent it. I only do not rate this one lower because of the video, which was actually nicely done I believe and elevates what we hear a lot. Overall, no greatness, but worth checking out.
